Residence Inn by Marriott Bloomington

Just booked a stay here with my family room was dirty and dusty upon arrival my 1 year old kept picking stuff off the floor that should of been swept up the receptionist at the front Desk seemed very racist toward me when checking out I was also told check out was at 11 when the doors said 12 along with my receipt I booked online never coming here again was very upset during our ride home

Tammy and Nick went above and beyond to help me locate a package that was delivered to the wrong address. They took the time out to contact local business in the area until the package was found. They both also send weekly text to check how my room is and if I need anything. Thank you for making my stay warm and welcoming.

I enjoyed my stay of 28 days, staff was amazing, a lot of food places and shopping near by; very convenient location.

Loved the layout and space in the rooms. Everything was clean and kept up. Kids loved the pool and hot tub with color changing lights. We also enjoyed the fire ring with the couches around it. The breakfast was awesome , especially for a complementary breakfast. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Super clean, comfy beds, spacious room with full size kitchen appliances: refrigerator freezer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, microwave and 2 burner cook top. Eat in kitchen table for 2. Super nice! Everything about this room was wonderful. This is a pet friendly place and on the first day we did hear a yapping puppy, but being a dog owner myself I understood. The walk-in shower had lasting hot water. The free breakfast is worth the stay alone. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, grits, yogurt, fruit, bagels, juice. Wonderful. Then there is an outdoor courtyard that is very inviting. Super nice staff. Worth the stay. 5 stars

Clean rooms, lounge, pool, patio, and fitness room. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and it was a nice change of hotel scenario due to it feeling more like an apartment. My son loved the pool and spa. The fitness area was well maintained and they had nice ellipticals. The breakfast was good and the breakfast dining staff were friendly and continually made sure floors/counters were clean and food was being replenished when needed. This was an overall excellent experience and I plan on using Residence Inn from now on.

This place is profoundly perfect in many regards. Rooms are extremely well designed. Great emphasis on cleanliness. Multiple hand sanitizer dispensers that are full, not empty as is all too common elsewhere. Kind a d friendly staff asking if all is well. Great location off Veteran's Parkway. I have been traveling on the road since mid December, a month or so, from Montana to the Florida Everglades then Saint Louis and on to Madison. The best place I have stayed hands down. 10/10. Ideal in all regards.

Quality hotel with great staff members! We arrived before we were able to check in and the Mr. Shah, the manager, let us use the pool while we were waiting for our room. We were also upgraded to a two bedroom suite upon checking in. Granddaughters loved the pool and the private breakfast nook areas.

Love the chain & this location is usually well maintained. On my most recent visit my room was not clean, there was garbage in the hallway, and the breakfast buffet was pretty bad (and continually out of coffee). Apparently the indoor pool was hotter than the Jacuzzi so I didn't get to swim.

We stay here annually for an event and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to our family, even keeping the kids busy with coloring books and stickers during breakfast. Lots of room in the breakfast area and they offer evening food options M, Tu, W. With in-room kitchens this hotel has everything we need as a family.

First time staying at this particular hotel due to a work event nearby. First off I would like to start with complementing the front desk staff and the cleaning ladies as they were personable, kind, and professional. Sarah the assistant manager was 5 stars. The rooms were kept well and supplied without issue. Unfortunately the time that I stayed was quite busy and the breakfast in the morning was packed. Although having to wait, that was not my issue, more so it was the gripe I overheard from the cooking staff. One in particular woman complaining about how much people were eating and how hard she had to work this weekend. Additionally I and other patrons staying were upset that as they ran out of items they were hardly replenished. When I asked if they would be, she responded that they were done at 930 (it was 905 and I was asking for fruit and bagels to be brought out). She hugged and puffed when I pointed this out and hid in the kitchen til time expired. Great environment, clean hotel, great staff other than wait staff.

This was our first stay at Residence Inn. We normally stay at Eastland Suites for our Anniversary but with them being booked we decided to give this a try. We were very pleased with how nice this hotel is. We rented the One Bedroom Kitchenette. Very nice super clean rooms and hotel. Staff was very attentive to our needs. We were impressed with the bed and having netflix and other apps like youtube on tv was a big plus. Only issue we had was our fireplace in room timer was so loud when fireplace was on. It was like a buzzer going on entire time it was on. The tv seemed a little small in front room but nothing to upsetting just thought it looked kinda wierd a small tv above a big fireplace.

Kinda sucked that with covid that the pool and hot tub were closed and they werent doing the bar or buffet in mornings but they can't control that. Fitness center was very nice with state of the art equipment. Over all Marriott's we have stay at before and always seemed to just be really up to par hotels. We will definitely return as we were pretty happy. If you want a quiet stay that feels like your at home look no further. Thanks Again for making our stay a pleasant one. Our stay was wonderful, and it made our Anniversary so relaxing!

Fabulous clean hotel that looks and feels brand new. The outdoor firepit with seating is a great way to relax with their drink specials. The furnishings are true to Marriott but because the property is 3 years old it seems brand new. I love the new shower style but beware if you need a bath, hopefully other rooms at the hotel will have them.

The best 3 star hotel I've been. The room was a suite with kitchen, living room, etc. Really comfortable bed. Large shower. Nice, new, and spacious. Complimentary breakfast was really good. They have fruit smoothies, fresh waffles, and eggs and meat. Would highly recommend.

The team at this property could not have been any more accommodating when we stayed overnight for a small ISU reunion! Ready to meet our every need. We can’t remember the last time we were treated with such exceptional service, from offering us a room before check-in to allowing us to linger and chat (excitedly) in the lobby long past breakfast hours. The room was great and the bed was really comfy, too!

Came here to meet with family, and they were very accommodating, big rooms with lots of space and friendly staff. Pictured is one of the queen bed suite complete with kitchen. We were able to decorate for my Moms birthday and hold 6 people

Very nice hotel, pool area is really nice. Rooms are spacious and having a fridge and mini kitchen are helpful especially when traveling with kids. I especially enjoy the outside area with the grill and seating during the warmer months. All around great place to stay!

Great hotel, very clean and excellent value. Every room has a kitchen and full size fridge, coffee maker, living area, full size mirrors. It's a little out of the way but all in all a great choice. Will stay again, despite an easy morning fire alarm due to a kitchen issue.
