Had a great time at the store today. I did some browsing while I was waiting for my order to be put together. The girls help me to my vehicle with my boxes. See the attached pictures for current stuff available for purchase in the store.

Outstanding experience! I wanted to have hoodies made for our employees for Christmas and Jeanette was so very helpful in getting my very late order squeezed in so I could give them at our holiday party. They were ready several days before expected and the quality was great! Everyone loved the shirts, especially our CEO as it was a surprise for him as well. They were so easy to work with and would definitely recommend!

I ordered a Jr. Guard Rescue Tube and it works perfect. I would give this a 5 star rating but shipping was quoted as 3 days and I got in in 7 days. Their customer service is incredible. I asked if an item would go on sale and they quickly adjusted the price. Not just once but twice!!! Very happy overall and will continue to purchase from The Lifeguard Store.

Shopping in person. In the store is never a problem. Helpful staff. They also have good clearance sales on local high school shirts and hoodies related to swim teams.

They seem to really be struggling with orders this year. Most years we order all of our guard equipment and we have it in hand within a week. This season we ordered equipment on May 20th. As of June 5th it has not yet shipped. After three phone calls, I was told it would ship out today.

BEWARE---HORRIBLE QUALITY AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Ordered 12 red rash guards that stretched out to 3x the original size and completely faded to the point they were pink within 2 weeks of use. They led me on for 6 months about a new rash guard that was being ordered that they could replace with. They wanted the originals back to give me the replacements. After 6 months I gave up and asked for a refund which I was told was send in with no mention of still needing the original ones sent back. I tossed them of course because they were unusable and now they refuse to give me my money back because I never sent them in!

I would love to go somewhere else to purchase our team uniforms, but unfortunately the club has selected to use this company. They are ALWAYS late with deliveries and keep relying on the same old story of "we are busy". Well, get over it. Everyone is busy. Don't take orders if you can't fulfill them. I ordered the aquablade a month before the short course season and it never came. I cancelled the order in January. I tried again at the start of April. I ordered goggles and a race suit and three weeks later, past the estimated due date, and still nothing. The good news is there have been enough complaints that the club is going to start using a different vendor.

You get one chance to make a first impression.
I received email correspondence from the customer service department asking me to substitute a different swimsuit because the one I ordered was 'discontinued'.
I mistakenly ordered from the website thinking they actually had access to the elite competition suit (list price $599.00) I ordered and paid $50 more for expedited shipping. I understand supply chain issues, but to receive correspondence that states the suit was discontinued reflects a lack of leadership-awareness that points to impending doom for the business. In a world dominated by online retail, how can you afford to not know or care that your inventory has been discontinued. I understand 'sold out' or 'backordered', but to allow customers to expose personal financial information and commit to a product that is discontinued and has no chance of being shipped or delivered is evidence of a lack of reverence for the customer.

Question to the Owner/Manager:
Is this incompetence, website mismanagement, a deceptive business practice or something else?

You be the judge:
Now, they know it is discontinued(two days ago). I go back to the site today and add one of the 'discontinued' suits to the cart and go to check out and there is no mention of it being discontinued. How do you stay in business when these mistakes are not quickly rectified?
I will not support a business that does not care about it's customers enough to quickly address its own shortcomings after they are brought to light. I hope this is an isolated incident(the site looks fantastic). For me it was the one and only occasion this vendor will get any of my time.

Update:
refund pending....

I ordered two lifeguard suits in later May. It took nearly 3 weeks to get my order in, after I payed for expressed shipping. When I received my package I only got 1 suit. I waited a week for the other one to come in. It never did. I sent a Email to the company and never heard anything back. Two weeks later I emailed them again. No response. I tried to call several times but no one to pick up the phone. I should have looked at the reviews before I ordered. Terrible customer service for subpar products. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I ordered on June 3 and had an expected shipment date of June 14. They changed their page to indicate they had some delays of 7-10 days a week after I ordered. It is now June 25 and still A) NO COMMUNICATION FROM THEM about my order despite several calls and emails B) NO UPDATE ON MY ORDER STATUS from processing even though they have their money. This is unacceptable and the standard cut-n-paste reply (see answer to other reviews) is unacceptable. Your customers deserve more confidence from your company than "we're working on it". If I don't hear anything back from you by June 28, I'll be contacting my bank for a refund since I can't get in touch with anyone at the lifeguard store via phone or email.

UPDATE 6/28 - So the "owner" has time to check google reviews but not to send out an email letting us know the status of our very belated orders?
