This is our go-to Chinese restaurant and they never disappoint. Dare I say that the general tso's is best in town?? And the crab rangoon and egg rolls are delicious - I didn't used to like egg rolls but these have grown on me. Also a big fan of their sweet and sour chicken.

Stopped in a little after dinner time. I am not from the area but figured I would give it a try. I am glad that I did. I ordered cashew chicken (there was a combo) with an egg roll and crab rangoon. You added some extra fried wontons.

While waiting for my food, I learned that the owner was taking my order. We chatted about our respective cities and why I was in town. Very nice gentleman if you do get to meet him.

The food was amazing. Fresh vegetables, sliced chicken, delicious rice, and the fried items were not greasy at all. I was given plenty of red sauce for dipping.

Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for the great conversation and meal.

The ladies in front are so nice. Their steamed dumplings and won ton soup hit the spot. So good. Only thing I can even recommend is some green onions in the soup. Other than that 10 out of 10

Fresh and fast. I appreciate the wheelchair accessibility as well as the front door parking. The Mongolian beef is my favorite. It's nice to have a selection of soft drinks including both PepsiCo and Coca-Cola products.

Ordered for the first time today, and this was the best Chicken with Broccoli I’ve ever had. The vegetables were so fresh and stir fried perfectly. Will be a staple in my work lunch ordering from now on!!

Ordered for take out (i don't think they do dine in at this moment - covid era).
Sweet & sour chicken was good. The chicken was tender and fresh tasty.
Orange chicken was OK in my book. I had better one.
Beef broccoli was good. The broccoli was so soft and tender. The sauce was good, not over powering. I think this is the best beef broccoli i ever taste.

We've always had a good experience at China Star. The owner is incredibly friendly and finds excuses to throw in extras. Plus when the kids are with, he's quick to slip them some fortune cookies. My wife is gluten intolerant, and she doesn't get sick from things on their gluten free menu.

A great menu selection even for diet restricted peoples. Always made fresh, and ready in a reasonable time frame. Staff have always been pleasant, and chatted at check out.

Today opened his restaurant on a closed Monday to honor my request to cater for 25 people. The food was excellent and the customer service above expetations. He really cares about his customers.

Food is always good. Freshly cooked and tasty. My go to take out Chinese Restaurant!

Great gluten free choices! They put my gluten free food in a separate bag, since my partners weren't gluten free!

The owners are so nice! Food is good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for quick dinner. No dine in...not sure if it's due to covid or just prefer take out (there are tables but are covered with miscellaneous items.)

My favorite Chinese takeout in Bloomington. I've been coming here for 25 years and their food has never disappointed.

This place is amazing for Chinese food. I was looking for the best Chinese food in town and this is it. Their stir fry is my favorite. I love the veggies they throw in the rice is good and they offer a number of meat options. I prefer the fried chicken. Their egg rolls are excellent.

The staff is super friendly and easy to talk to.

I'd totally recommend it and I will be going back again..and again... 🙂

This China Star location is always good. They usually have my food ready before the estimated time. The food is always well-prepared and the service at pick up is always friendly.

We got one order of cashew chicken and 4 egg rolls. It fed the two of us with leftovers! Tasted great. Service was good. Around $25.

This is literally the best place to eat in town. Everything is always so fresh and made with love. Definitely a go-to for me, super homely.

Amazing food. The staff was very friendly and engaged in conversation while my order was being made. My food was delicious. Hot. And made like I asked with no questions asked. It is a great place to come in and eat or just come to order some good food. The place was very clean and I would definitely recommend this place if you want some great Chinese food.
