Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters

It’s a nice coffee shop. I grabbed a latte to go for $6, which was served quickly. They also had souvenir cups available, but they were a bit pricey at $25.

Conscious Cup delivers on all fronts. From the moment you walk in the door, you are pleasantly and intentionally greeted. The baked goods are delicious and they have a wonderful selection of freshly roasted beans for all tastes. I grabbed a pour over when I was here last, and it was delicious and perfectly balanced! Thank you, Conscious Cup!

I've been coming here since I moved to the area. A lot of my friends have worked here and I always loved it. After they started expanding into other cities this location became an atmospherical dump as they were basically running a lot of operations out of here. But I just came in for the first time in a month and wow! They did an absolutely phenomenal job re-decorating this space. If you are wondering about quality of the coffee, its the best you can find in the area. I will definitely be coming here more often. I am wondering where Allen's new spot is though...

Happy we stopped by because of small business Saturday and I am glad we did. Super cozy, fun and relaxing atmosphere. Everything looks so good and when they were out of chai (which broke my heart) the cashier recommended her go to drink.. Honey latte with cinnamon. I got mine with oat milk and it’s perfect. Love a good coffee place.

Great place to relax with a chai tea latte or other delicious selections. Also has a drive through. Excellent quality food and drinks and wonderful baristas who are always friendly. 5 stars!

Amazingly good coffees. Had an almond milk latte and it was perfect! I visit my sister in northern Illinois and love Country Donuts down the street. This place is awesome.... will be back often while in this part of Illinois.

Stopped here to try out the coffee and was surprised to see the awesome breakfast menu! Smoked salmon on a soft bun with cream cheese and greens was delicious. So happy to get my fave breakfast item (smoked salmon). I had the caramel iced latte and it was great as well. Try this place out!

First time here and I really love the options on the menu. The employee who helped me was super nice and made me a vanilla caramel frozen latte which was amazing. I really like that they are fast service and have a drive thru. Can’t wait to go back to try the smoothies and food items.

Conscious Cup serves high quality specialty coffee. Their staff is well trained. Never had a bad experience. My coffee is always very good 👍.

Such a cute little coffee shop with great drinks and merchandise! I got their iced honey lavender latte and it was a ten out of ten!

We have been coming here since it opened across the street! They are amazing and somehow just get better with time! Their all homemade view is why i had no issue even bringing the kids since they were born! Kids streamers are the best!

My favorite coffee place in Northern Illinois! I’m not in Crystal Lake that often, but every time I am, I make sure to swing by Conscious Cup. Their iced lattes are my favorite, and their sandwiches are to die for.

My mornings aren’t complete without a trip to Conscious CL! Best dark roast in town, love their traditional macchiato and vegicado breakfast sandwich!

The best chai lattes, so spicy and delicious! I like to get a tasty drink and sit for a few minutes in the relaxing atmosphere. Also recommend the matcha latte and made-to-order sandwiches. The staff is friendly and professional. Nice clean place with several seating areas and local art on walls. If you are in a hurry, it also has a drive through, or order ahead through the Joe app.

Our new Saturday morning "date night" spot to get a really good cup of coffee and something tasty to eat while we have an hour to just relax. I recommend the white chocolate and raspberry scones. The espresso drinks are excellent with everything made from beans that are ethically sourced and then roasted in house at the front of the shop.
The atmosphere is relaxed and there's a constant flow of customers rolling through with plenty choosing to sit and enjoy their coffee.
The customer service is wonderful. Happy employees give a better customer experience.

Go darker or too hot too fast and the roast is imposed on the coffee; the flavor turns toward the late blackening stages of caramelization and can taste burnt or bitter

I have dined in and utilized drive thru. I saw another reviewer slightly criticized the drive thru being on the slower side. And I’m going to take that to task. Is it as fast as a big box coffee joint? No of course it’s not. They put genuine care into crafting your beverage here. It’s not just a assembly line of blenders and pump bottles. It’s skilled baristas crafting fresh beverages made to order. I wouldn’t rush that even if it was an option. I’d rather have a good beverage each and every time vs a fast though mediocre beverage some of the time.

I am from Arlington Heights. And years ago maybe 2014 I came here for a day trip, by recommendation of a coworker. I remembered loving this place back then. And kinda forgot about it. Fast forward to a few months ago my best friend lives in the area and we have frequented most all of the coffee shops in the area. Then I stumbled upon the google listing for here. The name sounded familiar… and then it hit me why. I always wanted to come back and forgot till then. I instantly dragged my best friend there. We both had a wonderful visit. And have come back many times since. Each time bringing more people with us.

I will gladly be a patron of Conscious Cup any time I’m in town and will gladly recommend it to anyone any chance I get.
