Absolutely AMAZING dinner!! Great atmosphere and EXCELLENT service! Alexis, our server, was super attentive and welcoming even during a super busy dinner service! She helped make our first time to Jameson's a memorable one, and her service and the tasty dinner made sure we will be returning! 5 Stars

We visited this location after a few years being away. The place is very clean and staff is extremely friendly. Currently they are short on staff so service was a bit slow but no complaints here and I am rating them 5 stars. They have martinis, wine and a lot of beers on draft. All the food was great and we want to come back soon since there are more menu items we want to try. It was a Tuesday night and the place was busy, it was good to see!

This review is for the French Onion soup. Plentiful, tasty with overflowing crispy cheese was the best I've had in a long time. The large bowl has enough soup to practically be a meal in itself. Will definitely be back to enjoy again!

I tend to be very critical as I have lived in the Chicago area among the outstanding restaurants my entire life. First time at Jameson’s Charhouse in Crystal Lake tonight. I can’t believe what I have been missing. Outstanding professional service, classy comfortable atmosphere and the food was cooked to perfection with exceptional flavor. I’m definitely going back!

Our server was Carlie and she was a 10/10. Great service and a great sense of humor. My wife and I were having fun at dinner, Carlie picked up on that, and had a couple fun quips to add. It really made us enjoy our dinner that much more.

The food is always great at Jameson's and if Carlie is your server you'll definitely have a great time.

This place was really good! We went mother's day weekend and the wait wasn't bad at all. Really cozy and clean inside. I had a pepper crusted steak which was delicious. We will be back!

Walleye and Beef Kabob Dinners came with delicious bread, Rice Pilaf, Great Soup all included. Wonderful food and waitress/Waitors were fantastic.
I think the outside area should be cleaned up as people who smoked outside litter terribly
which is ashame to do that.
The doors could be redone and painted too so it will look much more pretty and polished.
But very happy with this restaurant overall.

Great steaks and Alfredo fettuccine is a must try. We loved it so much that forgot to take pictures of our entire order. Sharing couple pics of the Filet Mignon. Finish it with decadent chocolate cake! Perfect texture and it hit the spot. Great service too.

I booked reservations for a party for my wife upon the occasion of her retirement after her long career as a 8th grade Language Arts teacher. She felt her reward was truly the chance to touch the lives and effect positive growth to her students but I decided she earned some public reward and recognition in the form of a delightful, delicious dinner with her colleagues and friends at our favorite steakhouse in Crystal Lake. Yes, I am taking about Jamesons on Rt. 14.
Having never had a bad experience at this location, it was a no-brainer to select our usual upscale escape from home cooked meals. The staff was as usual friendly, professional, and service-oriented. They went out of their way to assist me in making this a nice surprise along with sneaking in some flowers and a cake I had purchased earlier that day. Needless to say, the food was excellent, the ambiance was appropriate for the evening. Well I said it anyway!

The owner was quite thorough as he came to the table and congratulated my wife and checked to make sure our dinner was great and the service exemplary. All of our guests were very happy with the evening. Her reward for her exemplary teaching 8th grader all these years turned out to be a reward for each of our guests as well.

We certainly won’t wait another 40 years to celebrate with local fine dining!!!

High class and great quality steak house without the high price! Fantastic steak selection that includes soup, salad, and potatoe choice including sweet potato. Great wine 🍷 and beer selection as well. Portions are large, especially the prime rib.

I had my first date there with the lovely young lady Krista. Food was delicious service was awesome we closed the place down we were the last ones there. Definitely will be coming back.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of waiting for a table; it was honestly worth the time it took. Great service, beautiful architectural accents (ceiling, exposed ductwork,...), fresh warm crunchy bread with soft whipped butter, grilled octopus, amazing milk stout, two delicious soups to try (cream of broccoli - delicious & I'm not easy to please & a chicken tortellini - good & filling) and of course the Horseradish encrusted, bacon wrapped filet mignons with garlic mashed potatoes...Since you can only get them on Saturday, get there early or prepare to wait. Worth It!

I meet my Seller there to celebrate the closing of her home in Woodstock. It was her first time there and she raved about the food and service. I am happy that we chose Jamisons!

Wonderful time as always celebrating our anniversary. Server was really nice, and the manager stopped at table to make sure all was OK. They had a special appetizer of grilled calamari and it was so delicious!

Went here for Christmas Dinner and it was Fantastic ! Wonderful service , seated Quickly ( had reservations ) very good New York Strip I had and the rest of my party loved their food too .We will defiantly be back again 😊 The Ricles Family

Great service.. great staff. Delicious steak.. melts in your mouth like butter. Best rib eye steak I ever had. Chicken fettuccine was great. Also, bacon cheese burger was good also.

Top-notch experience. My steak was so tasty I purposely didn't finish it so I can experience it the next day! My son had the kids portion of the filet mignon, my wife had the shish kabob which she enjoyed and my daughter had the steak salad. Everything was excellent!
