The food here is amazing. We didn’t snag a photo of the cornbread because we were way too excited to eat it. AMAZING cornbread, will get this every time. The fried chicken is incredible, falls right off the bone. One of my fried green tomatoes was SO thick and the other very skinny, the thick one was not great but the sauce to dip it in was really good. I am assuming they aren’t usually that thick given my other piece. My boyfriend loves the chicken meal he got with the mashed potatoes. The strawberry shortcake was incredible, we both devoured it even though we were pretty full. The food took a bit to come out but we loved the food and will be back!

You know that famous restaurant scene in "When Harry Met Sally?" That was me. For real though trying to control the food moans and utter bliss I was experiencing from every bite I took. Perfection was sought through the artistic rendition of culinary creativity and gratefully achieved. Both of my parents are chefs, my brother went to the Culinary Institute of America. I've eaten at the best restaurants in Paris and had many memorable dishes in many countries. I can't say I've EVER had an ENTIRE MEAL that made me forget my troubles and lose myself in every bite I took. This restaurant MADE their own cocktail sauce. It was so delectable, that for the first time in my life, I put cocktail sauce on every oyster and relished the experience. I've had a lot of oysters in my life. The CORNBREAD! OMG. Oh God I swear I'm not exaggerating. I bit into a piece with a smear of the ricotta spread and lavender honey and continued to try to control the noises of utter joy coming out of my body. I was so happy I remember thinking the world could end then and there and I'd be ok with that. The cornbread was perfectly moist without being cakey and still tasted like cornbread. The beets were heavenly. A mix of different types of beets over a generous spread of well whipped ricotta. So refreshing and ecstasy generating with each bite. I ordered the Tiger Shrimp Risotto with Poisson Sauce and Chili Flakes. I'm getting a tingle down my spine recalling every bite of this dish. It came in a warm dish hot off the stove. It's very easy to screw up risotto and shrimp. They didn't. The shrimp were plump and juicy, the risotto was cooked just right and the SAUCE. Oh I had my reservations about ordering risotto with a sauce but it was heavenly. I was full halfway through but I didn't care I kept eating. There was also fresh spinach which I loved. Oh God I'd eat that dish every day for the rest of my life. We also had the short rib which was so tender. The service was phenomenal. Eat here. Now.

Just moved here from Nashville, this place is a must!! Their own take on Southern cooking and it was delicious. My wife had the halibut and she really enjoyed it. I had the fried chicken and fried green tomatoes it was also really good. Of course we ordered the fried pickles, oysters, tomato and burratta stack and cornbread to start lol we're foodies. Portions are small on the apps but that's good because I would have easily filled up with what we ordered but the portions are a good amount for just two people to share.

Love this restaurant! Great energy and vibe. The food and service were outstanding— and the place was packed! The craft cocktails were incredible. Can’t wait to come back.

A local favorite - can’t say enough good things about this place! Staff is so knowledgeable, they care and it shows in everything. The short ribs reminded me of Sunday dinner at grandma’s and the scallops were so fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked! Memorable dining!

I hosted a milestone birthday party at Buttercup and can't recommend it enough--Dora and her team went above and beyond to ensure it was a night to remember. If you have a special private event and are looking for the perfect place to host it, your search is over.

My wife and I like to rey restaurants around the world and since we were in our hometown and she is a Michelin Star restaurant lover, even though this is still not yet a Michelin Star restaurant, the food, drinks and service was amazing. Overall the experience was excellent. In other note, our drinks were amazing. Our bartender and server Ariana is very professional and when we told her we are Tequila lover she suggested us to try the Tequila signature cocktail on the drink's menu and WOW…. I highly recommend it.

Great restaurant with locally sourced, delicious food. I ordered the fried squash blossoms, bread platter, vegetable risotto, and seasonal sangria— all which were incredible.

I Hosted my son's rehearsal dinner and all I can say is AMAZING. Dora allowed us to build the menu to suit our needs. Everyone raved about their meals. Some even claiming it was the best meal they'd ever had (especially the beef option). If you need an intimate yet fun atmosphere for a party...look no further. Highly recommend Buttercup for a nice dinner out. Reliably good food and service, and great cocktails. As someone who likes to cook, it’s one of the few places that makes going out worth the cost!

I simply can’t say enough good things about Buttercup! The staff, food, and drinks are all EXCELLENT! Love it here so much I couldn’t have imagined having my engagement party anywhere else (10/10 would recommend them for your next event). It is classy but so fun and all around wonderful.

Amazing,Everytime ! There is nothing bad to say, the services is always friendly and smiling. The food is to die for and always is filling. The desserts have all been great too. We always try something new and haven't be disappointed yet. We are so thankful for a good restaurant close by .

Amazing meal at Buttercup! Great service & ambiance. Scallop appetizer with sweet potato puree, corn & microgreens was incredible. Delicious corn bread with honey & orange zest. Excellent fish tacos. & The brownie sandwich was yummy!

Overall the food was excellent. The oysters and halibut were very fresh and well prepared. We also enjoyed the fried chicken as it was moist and served with a fried green tomato. The most outstanding part of our dinner our server, Claire! She was one of the best servers we have ever had. The restaurant was very busy but she managed to give us the utmost attention and was extremely pleasant. Amazing how important service is to making the dining experience stand out. Thank you Claire!

This place is just fantastic, food so tasty, good size portions. The atmosphere nice, rustic and cozy.

Such a cute place ! Not the largest menu but everything was very delicious!!

We had a baby shower using the whole restaurant. The setup was wonderful and everyone was so accommodating of every detail we wanted. The food was as it always is, just delicious. The staff is first rate. It could not have been more perfect!

This is the second time we've dined at Buttercup and it was fantastic. The food delicious and promptly prepared, and our server gave my wife an excellent wine recommendation. We will be returning!
