The Common Cafe & Kitchen

Visited The Common Cafe for the second time this afternoon. First visit was breakfast last weekend, today was for lunch. What a discovery!

According to my Persian girlfriend they are serving some of the best Persian food in all of Metrowest.

We had Koobideh (ground lamb) and Salmon kabobs. One served on fresh greens and the other on rice with saffron. Both were excellent. The greens had a light and tangy yogurt sauce I would love to recreate at home.

The owners were very friendly. They described the evolution they were taking with the cafe compared to its fare when they bought it several months ago.

This place is well worth your time. I will definitely be going back.

Amazing place to hang out or do work. Very good, endless locally brewed Fazenda coffee, comfortable seating, delicious Persian food options, and friendly staff.

This restaurant has changed hands multiple times, and it is finally a winner. The people who took it over a year ago have brought in Persian food and it is now open later on Friday and Saturday nights. It is an AWESOME addition to Natick center! The food is excellent -- very reasonably priced, as is the wine. The owners are super friendly and attentive. If you've been before and you've been disappointed -- go check it out under this new ownership. You won't be disappointed! If you haven't been -- I highly recommend it!!

The Common Cafe is one of my favorite coffee shops around. They continue to provide the best service to their local costumers. The menu is kid/family friendly. My children enjoy the food and love to see the owner. She’s a sweetheart. The owner and her husband are always there to greet their costumers and make them feel comfortable. I ordered kabob from them couple weeks ago when I had family visiting. They did a fantastic job with chicken, beef and Salmon kabobs. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Bon Appetit.

So excited to have a nighttime fun place to go in Natick with excellent food and live music! The Persian appetizers were amazing as well as the chicken kebabs. Very happy to see that there are many gluten-free options during day and evening - just ask. Even the Margarita from a can was really good! I'll be going back a lot, for the food and the drinks and music.

We have been eating take out lunch from there during the stay at home order. Everything has been very delicious. Our household is very pleased with the kababs, salads, wraps. And their cookies are off the charts good. Easy to order and pick up.

First time here. Had trouble deciding what to get due to a limited menu but decided to go with the Cobb salad. Wow! What a great choice if I do say so myself. This one is going in the food memory bank. Best salad that I can recall in recent times. From the presentation to the quality of all the ingredients, I was highly impressed. Everything went together perfectly right down to the dressing. I was contemplating giving my compliments to whoever cooked and prepared but I opted out. Next time I’m in town I’ll order this again and if it tastes as good as the last time then I’ll certainly let someone know.

What a surprise. We went for brunch and ended up discovering home-cooked Persian kabobs and saffron rice. Food was really good and service was warm and personal. Definitely worth experiencing. We will be returning for more.

Truly excellent coffee and pastries - I’m (admittedly) annoyingly particular about my espresso and go out of my way to find good coffee - for a suburban town this place really is a hidden gem. Not many cafes exist like this outside of larger cities in the US. Most smaller coffee places that aren’t major chains (like Java down the street) don’t know what an espresso is nor do they have proper equipment to make anything aside from an Americano with pumps of flavored syrup.

It helps that their pastries are also great, the croissants are flaky, buttery and light, not doughy and thick like most cafes in the area.

I hope the people of Natick give this place plenty of business because I’d hate to see the only good local cafe within 20 miles go out for lack of customers. Seems pretty busy most of the time, though.

Huge improvement over the last owners and folks who ran the place, who were so mean! Food is pretty good, lots of bright clean space, a tad awkward to get around the tables because so many jammed in there (think thin, think thin!). Pricier but nicer than a Dunkin so decent tradeoff. I go at odd times so I don't have any complaints about it being crowded, no way in hell I would try it on a Saturday morning, I tend to avoid the entire downtown Natick area at that time, everyone is busy.

I think the place is much improved over the old bakery. The food is clearly very fresh, organic and tasty. A great place if your desire is to avoid processed foods and appreciate the higher quality ingredients. People have referenced price, but good ingredients do cost more.

Enjoyed both breakfast and lunch ! Egg sandwiches-YUM! The oddfellow sandwich, amazing. Coffee, hot and tasty. The chocolate croissants, delicious. Plus its in a cool historic building right on the Common. We will definitely be back !

Super cute cafe with an amazing location! The ambiance was great, the staff even better and above all, the food was phenomenal. Very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the food. I will definitely be returning!

Great place to get a bite to eat or some coffee! The space is very open and inviting. I don’t think they have WiFi (I may be wrong) which is a little disappointing, but there are power outlets on the bar if you need to charge anything.

Hands down best coffee shop place in Natick town , cozy and friendly staff, good quality food and appropriate pricing. Costumers are welcomed and appreciated. Need to try it.

I am so glad to have found this place. We have been going there for their great Breakfast, and now we can go there for dinner as well. We tried a few things form the menu and Mirza Ghasemi is our favorite.

Outstanding "it's a wrap" breakfast sandwich! "Chicken kabob " delicious! Everything is fresh and delicious! Wonderful friendly atmosphere!

Delicious food! Friendly staff. Much different than the previous owners (when it was Bakery on the Common). Love it!

Best coffee in the area. We came back from Italy missing good cappuccino. They make great coffee and we love the food as well.
