Grounder Café

I went here with my partner for a pickup order and my review is based off that experience.

I really enjoy this cafe! We ordered the French toast and omelette for our food and the salted caramel latte and expresso for our drinks! The food was delicious and I felt for the price, the portions were good. The drinks were great as well and not too sweet!

We did pick up so we didn’t dine in but we did wait inside. I really liked the ambiance of the cafe, it felt quaint and homey. I really enjoyed the background Brazilian music. It’s a bit small and tends to fill up quickly so something to keep in mind if you’re looking to dine in.

The servers were all friendly and professional. One thing I love is that on our takeout boxes, they write cute little messages which made our day.

If you’re looking for breakfast food, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to you!

A great place to stop in for a coffee and a quick bite. Cozy atmosphere, sun-filled dining space, and a lot of menu options. I've ordered delivery from Grounder Café twice and both times the food was prepared quickly, accurately and my orders were always very fresh. I definitely recommend their fresh squeezed orange juice and their omelettes are amazing!

I stop by a few times a week to pick up a breakfast sandwich and drink. The food is always delicious, I appreciate that they offer gluten free bread. The service is great, every time I pick up my food there’s a sweet handwritten message which just brightens my day. Staff are very friendly and the place is clean and cozy. Highly recommend!

I love coming here whenever I'm in the area. The staff are welcoming, they have a huge menu, and the ambience is perfect for working or relaxing. Highly recommend :)

I'm writing this review as I'm eating my fiesta omelet during my lunch break because it's that important.

I ordered Doordash and was pleasantly surprised to see a handwritten "Thank you! :)" on the bag, even more so when I pulled out the smoothie with my name and another smiley face on the lid, "Enjoy!" and "Good morning!" on the two boxes of food. I've ordered a lot of food through work, but no place has added the personal touch that whoever assembled my order at Grounder did.

Onto the food - the fiesta omelet was far tastier than I expected. The salsa was very good - no watery tomato business here. The onions still had crunch, which I really like. There was definitely at least half an avocado in there. My partner said the chicken Florentine panini was really good, but the star for her was the banana chai smoothie, which had flavorful chai balanced with banana.

I've never been to Grounder, my partner just happened to find them this morning, but we will be swinging by in person this weekend because we're so impressed!

Great coffee (espresso based and nitro cold brew on tap) as well as great food. Service was also very friendly.

What a great place to order a healthy meal from! Not only is it healthy but full of flavor!! And their açaí bowls are amazing!!

Best cafe. Acai bowl is huge and like a yummy sundae instead of breakfast item. Delicious cafe au lait and Unicorn hot chocolate.

*** If you can't have your cooked food (like French toast) touch meat, they've assured me the meat is cooked separately. Very hard to find this at other cafes. Necessary for my family and makes this place a huge win!

So happy to have found this sunny little cafe! The breakfast burrito was fresh and delicious. The service was great, the atmosphere was pleasant and the music was easy to listen to and relaxing. Will come back again soon!

Was on my way to Somerville and was praying for a cappu... They allowed me in slightly early and served a lovely brew to go.

Cute place with indoor and outdoor dining, the food was great and I had an espresso smoothie that was great too.

Just moved here to Medford and was hoping for a nice cafe with a variety of lattes. I was concerned that because it’s labeled as “cafeteria” on google it would be a serve yourself kind of place. So glad it’s not! It’s a very cozy cafe with little tables to work at in peace which I plan to do soon. I got a gingerbread latte with oat milk and it’s delicious. Super excited to go back and try the other flavors along with some of the food!!

Oh my GOD, this place is great! I ordered an egg, avocado, cheese & tomato sandwich on a croissant, this is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Seriously. It is delicious, fresh, amply sized, and reasonably priced.

They use responsible packaging, which is IMPORTANT to me, whereas many places are still using styrofoam, which is SO irresponsible. AND...the place is VERY clean and organized, also important to me...

This is my first experience with Grounder Cafe and when I walked in, the smell of coffee was so welcoming (even though I do not drink it, I LOVE the aroma!), as was the woman behind the counter...highly recommend this wonderful place!

Their “large coffee” is actually bigger and less expensive than in most coffee shops. The attendees are very nice and they allowed me to leave my luggage in the back next to my table. Wifi is free and the bathroom was clean

I'm in love with their espresso smoothies. I tried the omelet, and it was one of the best I have ever had. Great service, the place looks good. I definitely recommend you try everything.

Salted caramel iced latte (seasonal fall drink) was delicious. Always happy to support local cafes > coffee chains, the ladies here are so nice too.
