This place is amazing! A very calm, chill environment, and the owner is so nice! Books are VERY cheap, but the quality is amazing for them being used. Will DEFINITELY be coming again.

What do you do when you land in Boston needing a book that you can't find in the entire Boston metropolitan area? Call Bearly Read Books and talk to Betty Ann! This magical "book whisperer" found the book and got it to me just in time for an important lecture I was preparing for. Part savant, part gracious host, Betty Ann channeled all her super powers to find and ship a book my way that no other book store in the Boston metro area could muster. What a gem! Support this bookstore and be a pal and bring Betty Ann a pastry and some hot coffee to keep her going!

A serious bookstore for the person who enjoys finding the type of book that excites the mind. Do not look for candles or stationary here, it’s not that kind of place. It is for that book to devour seated in your favorite chair as the rain howls outside. But you are warm and safe and engrossed in your own world because you have your book, the one you found here. The woman at the counter, the owner?, is a reader, she is mucho interesting. I love this place, can you tell. Park in the back, it’s hell trying to back out on a busy street. It is worth the trip.

The owners were very friendly and their collection is fantastic. I found a beautiful copy of a "The Three Investigators" and the Bible. It has a very cozy atmosphere if you want to sit down and read there. They ever have a coffee machine. I am looking forward to going back!

A hidden charm! I was looking for a coffee table book on Boston landmarks and I found exactly what I wanted. A great selection of books at a great price too! I'll be back.

Lovely classic style used/antique bookstore. Good children's, science fiction/fantasy, history, and cookbook sections, but no one section dominates, which is nice. More hardbacks, leather bound, and trade paperbacks rather than mass market paperbacks.

Amazing selection of used and collectible books. Owner is super nice and honest about desireabilty and value.

Exactly what I want from a second-hand bookstore: wide variety of subjects, lots of esoterica, freindly staff with recommendations. I'll be back!

Stopped in to check it out and there are so many inexpensive books! I could browse for hours and find so many rare books.

This my wife's favorite used book store, nestled in the middle of nowhere, it has several buildings depending on the genre you are looking for. A great store with a large selection.
