AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cleveland Circle

On this cold night, I checked in at the hotel front desk with my child. I was very happy to meet Rachel&Sandra at the hotel front desk. They were all very friendly and comforting, and I really need to thank them. Sandra was kind, enthusiastic, and advanced in people-oriented communication and arrangements. She was great, and I fully felt the high level of Marriott Hotel reflected by her.
The front desk also sent snacks to my children and we were really happy and appreciative of their thoughtfulness.

We really enjoyed this hotel on the Cleveland circle. It was easy to visit our son at Boston College. We walked everywhere. There's a fabulous breakfast and lunch restaurant right at the entrance to the hotel parking. There are many sites to be seen from this location. We visited the waterworks museum. We went to the city works restaurant a block away. We took the t-line train service into downtown Boston. It is so easy to get around from this location. The room was very clean crisp and European looking. I do not really care for the fact that they encourage dogs to stay here. It looked like there was a poop stain on our carpet from a dog. The breakfast is not included. When we went to go check it out one of the employees followed us around as if we were going to steal food. The hotel lobby only has coffee in the morning. They were gracious enough to allow us to borrow umbrellas during the rainstorm. They were huge umbrellas and very helpful. Parking is easy and they will valet your car. The rooms were quiet and we did not hear other people. Although at 1:00 a.m. one night I heard someone stomping around above us. It is right on the electric train line so you will hear trains coming and going all day and night. But it's pretty quiet and with ear plugs you don't really hear much. It is so centrally located it is worth paying the extra money to not have to use your car and walk everywhere. We accidentally left items in the safe and they quickly called us to let us know.

Nice, large, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Great bartender. What more could ask for? Fitness center was basic but good and clean. Valet parking is pricey but it's not much more than everywhere else and it is QUICK. A very nice stay.

What a nice hotel. Clean rooms, stylish, and spacious ground floor with lots of seating and plenty of quiet places to talk. Very conveniently located right by Boston College and its neighboring residential area. Parking Valet Nate was the nicest fellow and amazingly knowledgeable about cars. He was friendly, helpful, and highly responsive. General Manager Kristoffer Martin is also highly engaged and very interested in guest satisfaction. Strong leadership there. We had breakfast plans already so didn’t have their $19 breakfast buffet but we had a look and it seems excellent. There too the staff was very welcoming and gracious. All around comfortable. Free chilled water bottles in our fridge in the room. Good find.

great hotel. business style kind of hotel which i did not expect but still enjoyed my stay…i’d pass on breakfast only because the options they have for 19 dollars aren’t worth the 19 dollars LOL. i did get scrambled eggs on toast which was pretty ohk. few places to eat around the hotel which was helpful and and handy CVS barely a mile away from the hotel

Rooms are clean and looks great. Very close to many attractions. Will stop by again!

We enjoyed our recent stay at the AC Cleveland Circle. The desk staff and valet were always so friendly as we walked past their desks. We love the proximity to the T stops and enjoyed three great restaurants in easy walking distance to the hotel- Cafe Landwer, Citywide Tavern, and Sushi Momento. Our room was very clean, housekeeping was thorough, and we appreciated the white noise machine in the room to dull the noise of the train nearby. No issues at all! It was also nice to be able to walk down the hall to the "hydration station" to fill a pitcher of ice water to take back to our room. And it was nice to have the little store near the front desk for snacks. We will definitely return!

I chose this hotel almost exclusively for the location. We wanted to be close to mass transit with as quick a ride to Fenway Park as possible, but also reasonably priced. This hotel met our needs perfectly well. As other reviewers have pointed out, your room isn't cleaned every day, nor towels replaced every day, in an effort to save costs/energy. I was fine with that. We enjoyed trying out the different restaurants that are located nearby, and also walked to the Waterworks Museum which we enjoyed very much. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. (One note, we didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, so I can't speak towards that.) We enjoyed our stay.

In town for Clemson-BC game. Great location 1 mile from stadium. Room was ready when promised, clean and good condition. Little trouble with check-in due to new employee. What he lacked in experience, he made up for in enthusiasm. Kudos to bartender, can’t remember her name, but she was handling it by herself before we left for the game, maybe 15-20 people and no one was waiting long for service. Got back from game at 11:00, she was still by herself but bar was slammed, 40+ people. Not only was she handling game crowd, but hotel had hosted a wedding and wedding party and guests were in the bar as well. She was awesome, maintained her composure, communicated well with her customers and served them as quickly as she could. One of the best bartending jobs I’ve ever seen.

Great stop with a quality staff that made it easy for my family in town doing some college tours. Parking is expensive but was the only option I found in the area that wasn’t in the park.

Friendlier staff compared to some 4* hotels downtown. Room is set up right for modern use cases (USB everywhere). Tries to make breakfast special but isn't quite working out.

Very comfortable, responsibility priced, and an awesome staff. Great views of the Boston marathon and minutes away from Fenway. Our housekeeping was alittle slow.

This is a brand new hotel opened in May 2018. The rooms are modern and comfortable. Lobby is not large but it's all clean and shiny everywhere. There are a breakfast restaurant and a cafe open till 11 PM. The food is excellent yet reasonably priced. Portions are not oversized. There is a modern and comfortable business section next to the restaurant. Staff was really helpful and smiley EXCEPT the housekeeper on our floor. We had a dusty room as the housekeeper wasn't vacuum cleaning. We complained about it and it got disgustingly worse, i.e. toilet and the sink wasn't cleaned either the next day. However when complained to the hotel manager he took it seriously and reassured us it would not happen again. Apart from this issue it was a pleasant experience.

New hotels are always sparkly, but this place also boasted smart amenities (rain shower! Public computer station!) and comfortable public spaces. The rooms are gorgeous, and the staff were above and beyond awesome, from servers to bartenders to valets (thanks, Orlando!).

The room had no carpeting, which was so nice. It felt clean and relaxing and high-end. Only caveat: the hotel is by the T, so if you are noise sensitive, stay on the front side of the hotel. I actually found the sound relaxing, and they don't run all night.

I’ll be completely honest and say that we booked this hotel by accident, thinking that we’d booked the AC Downtown - luckily it was one of the best mistakes we’ve ever made.

Firstly, don’t be put off by the distance from Downtown Boston. The hotel is right beside a train stop that will have you in Government Centre within 30 min on trains that run every 5-10 mins until midnight. The surrounding area has its share of bars, eateries and convenience stores as well as an outdoor pool & walking trails around the reservoir behind it so there’s no shortage of things to do in the area.

When we went the hotel itself was only a year old and you got a great first impression when walking through the front door, both by the decor and the excellent front desk staff who gave us a rundown of the local amenities and transport, including maps. The in-house bar has a good selection of beers and knowledgeable staff, although we didn’t have any meals there so can’t comment on those.

In many hotels the reception gives you a false impression of the rooms with the standards usually way below that of the reception; in the AC this is certainly not the case. The room was spacious and modern with a huge kingsize bed, the facilities included free water and a smart TV, and the bathroom featured a very spacious rain shower.

I can honestly say that if I’m back in Boston I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

I recently stayed here for a quick work trip. I was very impressed by the rooms, and the staff went above and beyond. Every person I spoke with was helpful and friendly. The gym facility was beautiful, and much larger and cleaner than many hotel fitness centers I have used. The breakfast options were convenient, and I thought the selection was very nice.
I would absolutely stay here again in the future, and will look to stay at other AC Hotels based on this experience.

Front desk was super helpful and friendly!!! Same with doormen. ..and Nikki at the bar was one of the best servers we've ever had, ever...she really made an effort to get to know us and make a connection. Also the cleaning staff were so on the ball. One of our light bulbs went out and we didn't bother telling anyone. When we got back to our room, the bulb had been replaced. That attention to detail has never happened at any other hotel I've ever staýed at. The rooms were so impressively clean that it actually made me look forward to coming back each night. Even our shoes were lined up nicely! So many nice little touches in this hotel (lavender sachels for your luggage, business services, hydration station) paired with excellent service makes it an absolute five star place. Well done you guys, you are all great! Thank you for making our emergency trip to Boston so much less stressful. You all set an example for true hospitality.

Absolutely fantastic! Location is great if you’re planning on taking the subway. Rooms were gorgeous and clean with very modern details. And the staff were amazing! Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. The staff at the front desk gave us great recommendations and suggested experiences that we never would’ve done! Shout out to Michael! Would highly recommend
