Always a positive experience here. Great selection and stock, the staff are fantastic and really know the product line without being pushy about making sales. Very patient if you’re having trouble making up your mind. Easy to make returns within their policy and never make a fuss. Allen Edmonds shoes in general are fantastic as well.

I visited the store on 10/17/2020. I worked with Bob and he was professional and knowledgeable. His experience and advice were well worth the 1 hour trip for a first time buyer. His words of wisdom regarding the proper way a shoe should fit are priceless. If you have any doubt about size or fitment, don't hesitate to visit the store and benefit from his knowledge and experience.

After a few years of stopping by, I had to get some shoe product and decided to stop by. Fortunately, the sales staff recognized me (from the Somerset location) and provided great service and knowledge (as always). They have never been pushy and have never tried to sell me something I neither needed nor wanted. I've worn AE shoes for nearly 10 years and all they have needed is an occasional polish and shine. Both the shoes and this location is worth it.

GREAT service, very knowledgeable about the products, very helpful with sizing and fit. If you're new to the AE brand or to footwear of this quality in general, I highly advise going in and being sized. The downside to sturdy construction and high quality materials is that the shoes won't conform as much if you get a bad fit. But dial in the right size and you'll never go back to cheap/low quality footwear.

I ordered a pair of shoes for an event but I made a mistake on my sizing. So I brought the wrong sized pair in to the Birmingham store and received the best service I could’ve asked for. Bob helped me identify the true size of my feet and explained why they should be a little snug at first, he tracked down my size shoe in the specific color that I wanted and then had them overnighted to me so I could wear them to my event. This was my first experience with Allen Edmonds but I will definitely be back.

Very welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Nilly was super knowledgable about the product line and shoes in general. She was very patient, got me sized up and recommended the best shoe for my situation without trying to be pushy with a sale. Great job. Keep up the good work.
