Sudbury Police Department

I was recently involved in an accident on Rt 117 on a Friday morning, I am not from the area and I do not have many problems in my travels. This was a rear ender and I was the last in the chain reaction so it wasn't my fault and no one was hurt. Someone notified the police and they responded very quickly. A fire truck was sent also, The officers were polite, responsive and got all the information collected and dispersed to each driver. One car needed to be towed and we were on our way very quickly, I was impressed with their efficiency. They had to issue a couple of citations and that was done with just a level of matter of factness.

I've had a few interactions with our local police department since I moved here 5 years ago. I have found them responsive and friendly throughout. This includes a recent response to report a drunk driver and other safety issues. They've never made any members of my family feel anything negative. I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews.

Both times I had to call in a drunk driver (who both times didn't stop cause they passed out) the dispatcher helped me stay calm until police was there. Very professional officers as well. Top marks for them from my end.

In defense of the Sudbury Police department.

To those people complaining about this department shooting a baby bear.... do your research before posting.

Not sure why I received attitude from dispatch when I called to make sure an officer was who he said he was. Unprofessional and uncalled for.

These "officers" are rude, abusive, need training in handling older people with disabilities (hearing) and communication skills. The facilities are lovely but they admit they just watch traffic and give out tickets...such a waste of personnel and funding....welcome to Hootersville

One officer was extremely rude when I got hit. I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS HIT and he had a bad attitude and was extremely rude
