Sudbury Craft Beer

This is really the only store I go to for beer these days. John, the owner, is great to talk to and always has great suggestions based upon your target beer profile. The store itself has a great selection, and importantly keeps all the hoppy stuff cold to extend life.

Facts to understand about Sudbury Craft beer and the friendly guy that now manages the place:
— John might use his skills to read you, and makes shopping there a colorful, flavorful all-around unique shopping experience by conversing with customers and find out their favorite selections. Friendliest manager of a beer shop ever.
— The music that is played on the boombox is upbeat and I really always like what I hear while in the shop! I believe the music selected fits the overall vibe and target demographic.
— John has rearranged his shop from its basic setup back from 2020/2021 to now be a more thoughtful shelving system that proves that craft beers retain a better shelf life. Any customer can and should appreciate that. Beer sold in its best shelf conditions possible!!

I promise you, forget any other shop for craft beer/cider/seltzer/mead/ipa (variety types go on & on & on lol!) in the Wayland or Sudbury or Marlborough area because John at Sudbury Craft Beer is the best. Drop in to shop there whenever at “Mill Village” or anytime driving along route 20, you’ll be happy you did.

This store is an experience. John the owner has tasted almost everything in the store and is so friendly and helpful! I’m so out of my element with beer and cider etc and he stayed right with me the whole time patiently helping me customize a four pack of cider to suit my taste. I love that you don’t have to commit to a full 4/6 pack of something and hope you like that brand. Create your own sampler pack with one of each to see what you like best. I’ve gone before to put together custom packs of beer for my cousin and John asked questions about what he liked to drink to put together a nice selection. Great place for Christmas shopping. I always love supporting local shops, and with a friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as a vast and varied selection of craft beers (most from the New England area), Sudbury Craft Beer is the perfect alternative to the ubiquitous large chain liquor stores in the area.

I had heard that this shop was open during the quarantine and that Gustavo, the owner, was a highly knowledgeable beer guy. Wanting to support local businesses and craft breweries, I reached out, told him what I liked (NE IPAs), and he put together a case that blew my mind. I've since gone back for more and have already spread the word about Gustavo and his team's knowledge, incredible selection, and attention to detail. He listens and then puts together a personalized selection. It was awesome. I'll be back.

Fab craft beer store!
They have a great selection of beers, mostly across New England, but a really nice import selection in the corner too.
Buying cans individually is a spot pricey compared to the 4/6 pack pricing but it's a great way to mix things up and try new things.

Excellent selection of craft beers. I particularly like the variety of England style IPAs. They often have tastings. The owner and other staff help to weigh in on new types that customers might like.

Glad I found this place. They have a large selection of hard to find beers and a unique offering of wines. They even had wine from the Finger Lakes which was a nice surprise. I am proud to support a local merchant with Sudbury Craft Beer!

Lovely local beer shop. Rotating stock means I'll ajay's fund something new and interesting. The ability to buy single beers is a great way to test and try the whole store.

Owner is the man and the selection in great. Favorite new addition to Sudbury and is slowly becoming the only retail craft beer store I shop at other than hitting the breweries directly!

Purchase a bottle of Brooklyn Black Ops. I must say there is an extensive variety of options and informative staff who ensure that whatever you purchase is just what you are looking for. The place to go for local brew.
