Vinny's Ristorante

I love the look and feel of this establishment. I ordered a Italian sandwich and the meat was sliced right in front of me. My server made that sandwich fast and it was very delicious. The customer service was also very good. I will return and definitely recommend

What a lovely place!! Everything from the freshly baked bread to dessert was fabulous! The food tasted as if we were invited to an Italian family dinner. My husband and I shared the veal Parmesan and salmon pasta. We opted pay extra to have the homemade pasta served with our dishes and I’m so glad we did! The portions are generous and the prices are super reasonable. I highly recommend to try the homemade tiramisu if you have any room left! We will definitely be back

A wonderful, delicious experience as always. With Vinny's in my neighborhood, it's hard to ever want to go to anywhere in the North End. It's so convenient to walk to dinner.
A friend who also lives in the neighborhood and only ever gets takeout from here is thinking about leaving our neighborhood so we took a walk to Vinny's this past Saturday for dinner to try to show him what he'll miss if he moves. The place was busy, the server/bartender was friendly, and the food was delicious.
I got my usual: grilled lobster special.

Authentic recipes. Nice portions. Great menu selection. Fair prices. We had good service. Food was delicious. Parking was on street and not great but we found a spot after a few passes.. Place is small so make reservations. My only real complaint was not with rhe restaurant at all. It is with the city of Somerville. Multiple drunks were laying on the sidewalk near the package store as we walked by to get to the restaurant.

A few years ago when we moved to the area my husband got hooked on their Jack Daniel's slice- and I must agree it was delicious! Had tried some other slices as well -they were average but nothing spectacular. When they posted they were renovating I thought it just a coverup and they were out of business. My husband kept telling me to wait and see and I am glad he was right! They reopened better than before! All slices we have had so far have been delicious and flavorful. Even tried a vegan upside slice because they were out of traditional and even that was tasty!

This place embodies everything I love about Somerville. The food, the service, the vibe were all excellent. We were first-timers but instantly felt like regulars, even like family. Can't wait to come back!

Got their homemade fusilli with cream sauce and mushrooms and it was very delicious. I loved the consistency of the sauce (I don’t like it too thick) and the pasta was also amazing!

We ate here because of the reviews. We both had the homemade pasta. Delicious! Husband had the lamb chops and I had the homemade pork sausage. Both were wonderful. Good bread, very friendly service, homey atmosphere. Huge portions. I left at least half of mine although I really wanted to eat it all.
Next time we're in Boston we'll definitely eat there again.

This is a great Italian Restaurant. Hanover St has nothing on Vinnies. The service is great and the food is even better. My favorites are the Seafood Extravaganza and the Veal Chop. The marinara is fantastic. The apps are great too! Little necks with garlic and oil with hot baguette.

I rarely give 5 stars and when I give it, trust me, it’s a 5 star.

First, where on this green planet, or blue, or flat, whichever you choose, can you find a Chicken Parm hoagie that is not only absolutely remarkably DELICIOUS but, find it for under $10? Vinny’s, that’s where! People, if you in Boston and want to eat a delicious chicken parmigiana, trust me, Vinny’s is the real deal. Their pepper steaks on Mondays are also a killer hoagie. You won’t be disappointed. Secondly, the people there are so darn friendly every time I go, that I sit and eat there. So, if you’re in or around Boston, whether visiting or a local, and haven’t visited Vinny’s….you just don’t know what you’re missing. Tony will certainly take good care of you and your belly.

Dined here several times over 10-15 years. Food is always delicious and plenty of it. Homemade pasta. Varied menu with something for everyone. Good service. We usually have a fairly large party. Ask for the chicken sausage, which they make themselves. We add it to the antipasto. Never disappointed.

Went with a friend and the food was delicious. Just like my grandmoms who grew up in Naples. Nice atmosphere too; I’ll def be back.

Delightful Small, local neighborhood place and the food was LEGIT! The BEST marinara I’ve ever had. They were able to make us vegan pasta and marinara and with some sautéed mushrooms. A lovely middle aged Italian American woman (probably the owner?) took our order and then came and sat down with us after dinner and asked if we were in town for the marathon (we were!) and wished us luck. She treated us as if we were regulars - which from the look of the people around us, most everyone was. The portions were sizable and good prices. Highly recommend. MAKE RESERVATIONS. We booked two weeks out and the place was packed with both locals (including a birthday celebration) and runners in town for the race. But I imagine the small space fills quickly anytime.

I needed to feed a function on relatively short notice. A good sized catering order. No idea what I was doing. Walked in the door and 15 minutes later it was all set up, the gentleman I interacted with was very helpful.
I had never been there before they were highly recommended. Everything went perfect.
The food was unbelievable across the board. I can't say enough about it. I can't wait to get over there and try the rest of the menu. It was a real good experience.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant! The staff was friendly and the food was INCREDIBLE, really delicious! I wish I could give unlimited stars! Thank you all for being a highlight in our vacation, my whole family left full of food and happiness.

Amazing home cooked food , ask for the homemade pasta. Family owned very authentic

This place was the best place that we've ever eaten!! My wife got the salmon pasta (gluten free) and I got the rabbit. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and had great suggestions. Our food and beverages also came out very quickly. My wife also said she would fly into Massachusetts just to eat here 😁
