Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Waltham

I think we are truly qualified to give an accurate review of this hotel as we stayed here for nearly 3 months to be near my husband's medical treatment center.
The hotel is totally up to date, always smells clean, staff are very pleasant, if there's anything you're needing just speak up and they take care of it immediately. Breakfast every morning is very nice. There's cozy areas to sit when you want to get out of your room, a pool, nice gym etc. The rooms are awesome, you can easily cook all your own food with either the stove top or microwave. Can't say enough good about our experience here! 3 cheers for The Residence at Waltham :)

We prefer to opt for Marriott properties when we travel based on our previous stay experiences. we loved the overall stay experience and it is a lovely new property. We drove from Halifax to Boston and made a one day stay here. As it was our 1st time visiting Boston, we didnt wanted to explore any other properties and with trust, booked this property and it stood well on our experience list.
The positive attributes:
1. A warm welcome and a smooth check-in by a sweet lady at the reception.
2. Spic span room with a home away from home feeling. Cozy.
3. Complimentary coffee 24/7 in the lobby made our stay overwhelming.
4. We drove to the nearest Metro station and found ample parking space for our car while we took the train to downtown, waterfront.
5. The buffet breakfast had options considering traveler from everywhere around the world.
6. There was insuite microwave and fridge.
7. Room had all the required facilities, one seek during travel.

Amazing experience. The room was perfect! High class looking and extremely clean. It was also very quiet there.

From now on I will be choosing to stay at the Residency Inn for my future adventures.

We stayed here a weekend for a wedding and it was a great hotel! The room was a bit more spacious than a regular hotel room. We had the 1 king suite with a sofa bed. When you walk in, there is a little kitchenette and with two kids, it was so nice to be able to have a couple things in the fridge for them. There was a coffee maker, dishwasher and sink as well! Once the sofa bed is pulled out, there is about 10 inches of walkway in between the two but it was ok with us because we had it in the sofa position during the day. The room and bathroom were super clean!!! You also have to use your hotel room key to use the elevators which I thought was nice because not just anyone can use them. Location was great because it is off a little side road but so close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Parking was no problem, they have a large lot. The employees were super helpful and kind at the front desk and for breakfast. Breakfast was ok - they had hot sandwiches, oatmeal, cereal, bagels/toast, make your own waffles. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

Great hotel location with convenient access with a car. This is a Residence Inn and Fairfield Marriott. My preference when traveling are Residence Inns because of the amenities, kitchenettes, and space provided with rooms. Seating area, fire place, and bar in the lobby.

Parking at this hotel incurs a daily charge and requires a pass for your car so your not towed away. $16.00/day.

Breakfast in the morning is great 630-930. There's a Starbucks a mile away. Uber Eats delivers.

The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating.

Very spacious rooms with kitchen, beds are big and comfy,rooms away from Interstate are very calm, light food service and quite nice bar, “basic” free breakfast. I stay 30 nights a year over the course of a year and if there is any issue the service fixes stuff usually same day.

The rooms are spacious and very accommodating. The room we stayed in had a fridge, glass cook top, microwave, toaster, keurig, dishwasher and a garbage disposal. The cleaning staff went above and beyond for what we needed and and the front desk service was above the top! Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Clean hotel, friendly staff, and nice convenience and in-house bar/restaurant. Breakfast was decent as well with hot offerings.

My husband and I had our wedding block at the Residence/Fairfield Inn Boston Waltham in September and we were SO happy we did! It was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend. The lobby + bar area is the perfect space to gather friends and family. Our guests loved the outdoor fire pit area. The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious! Eric and the staff, especially Lauren B during the group booking process, were so friendly and really took care of our group. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for making our weekend so perfect!!!

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were very clean. The hotel staff was so friendly and went above and beyond. Donna the bartender was fantastic and makes a great old fashioned!

I travel for work and always stay at the Renaissance Inn. I recently stayed here for roughly 2 months and wish every Hotel had management, cleaning service, maintenance, bartenders and breakfast like they do! Whenever, I needed anything they were right on and in a timely fashion! I was even at the hotel in the middle of them changing from the grab-n-go breakfast to having a chef to the variant hitting the area and they handled everything in stride. Christina one of the Managers and Jose the Amazing Maintenance gentleman had to help me with a couple personal mishaps…thank you both so much! The entire team made me feel at home and I can not recommend this hotel enough!!!

Nice hotel, smelled amazing walking through the doors. Decent breakfast. On-site parking is available for a daily fee. Great accommodations!

This is an amazing place to stay! My family and I (3 adults, 2 cats) had to evacuate East Boston on 03/15/19 due to the 9 alarm fire two blocks from our house. The manager Tyler was so accommodating, and helpful! After getting setteled into our room we had a late dinner from the restaurant downstairs, which was delicious. The whole staff were polite and friendly. We woke up the next morning to the good news that it was safe to return home. We had the complimentary breakfast before checking out and it was tasty, fresh, and full of varied options. We checked out with manager Katie who was aware of our situation and was so sweet to us. Overall, the staff and comfortable hotel turned a bad situation into a wonderful one. I would 100% stay here again, and recommend it to anyone!

Just an outstanding hotel!

I can't even imagine how they keep this place so clean! Spotless everywhere, in the room, common areas and stairwells too...spotless. The accommodations here were clearly conceived and planned by real professionals and, in addition, the furnishings and all other related items; shower, counter tops,lamps, chairs, beds, etc are of substantial quality.

The modern interesting design elements run tastefully but notably from the moment you arrive to the trip to your room. All courtesy offerings, like all day high quality coffee with flavorings..think Starbucks not Dunkin Donuts... represent genuine hospitality. The staff is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful ! This is far closer to a true high end 5 star hotel but with more modesty and an incredible price.

We were visiting Boston and actually fled a Sonesta Suites hotel that was filthy and opposite from this experience in every way.

Love this place. Have stayed here several times and haven't had a negative experience yet. The rooms are lovely, the staff is always nice and the facilities are great. If highway noise might bother you, then simply ask for a room on the non highway side. They will accommodate you.

Quiet location but close to the highway. Ample parking spaces at the hotel. Fady, the the front desk staff was super welcoming, professional and very friendly during check-in. Check in was fast. Beautiful lobby with a very beautiful fire pit! The hallway to the rooms was clean, nice and well lit. The room was beautiful, very welcoming, looks brand new. Sealed, clean towels neatly placed on the bed - covid precautions. Microwave, fridge (no freezer) and coffee maker. Received a call from Fady to make sure everything was to our satisfaction! That was super awesome and went above and beyond. (We've stayed in several hotels and I can say I have never received a call in my room to makesurewe werehappy.) A huge plus was the pool - main reason I chose the hotel 😁. Although you have to schedule 30mins pool use, it is a hit with the little ones since covid. Have not seen the pre-packaged breakfast yet, will update. I will definitely be staying again and highly recommended the hotel. I stayed with my family - 2 very active boys, 8 and 7 years-old!
