Mediterranean Grill

I love Persian food and I have so many reasons to love this restaurant. Hear me out as I explain as a non-Persian diner (1) Their Ash reshteh, which is hard to come by, is yummy, comforting and very filling. (2) All of the kebabs and the meat are flavourful. Even something simple as a grilled chicken is beautifully seasoned. (3) They offer freshly brewed black tea and it’s delicious!!! Do yourself a favour and order it after your meal. (4) There’s Persian ice cream on the menu it’s delightful especially because of the rose & saffron flavour. Lots of pistachios on the outside & inside add texture. (5) There’s tahdig in the appetizer section. (6) Their baklava is fresh and crispy properly made with pistachios (not walnut!)

I have walked by this place many time and wondered about their foods. So last night I decided to go in. Nice environment. Clean bathroom. Delicious food. This is my first step in getting to know Mediterranean cuisines. So far so good. Give it a try.

We had the Mirza ghasemi, falafel plate, shrimp kabob and chicken kabob tasted out of the world :) Don’t forget to try their rich creamy Persian ice cream if you like pistachios.

Fresh and flavorful Persian grilled food! The salmon kabob had a nice sear. The borani (spinach, garlic, and yogurt) was creamy and delicious. The people were kind! The people were kind and the service was quick. Great casual spot for eat in or take out. We will be back!

The food seemed very authentic and tasty. Plus the atmosphere and the service was lovely. It seems a bit like any other take out Mediterranean, but they have a super relaxing set of tables outside where you can enjoy the weather while the weather's good.

The hummus is fantastic. Really homemade flavor without being to garlicky or lemony. The Baba ghanoush is light and smoky. We loved the lamb shank which was fork tender, and the chicken kabob was perfectly tender and juicy with just a hint of char. The only thing I didn't like was the tabouleh because it had tons of onion. That's just a personal thing though.

I would recommend, and we'll be going again soon. Oh and don't forget to grab some baklava on the way out.

Had my meal delivered so can’t speak to the atmosphere but wow - so good. I got the chicken kabobs with pilaf and falafel. Flavorful, tender meat with fluffy pilaf and perfect falafel. Highly recommend.

The food is very authentic and well prepared, I was worried that it wouldn’t have enough vegetarian options but ended up being very happy with their falafel wrap! The price is also hard to beat!

This place is a must. A must try. I am not big on trying new foods but I opened up to trying this since exploring a new changes! I’ve been twice now and from the seacoast area.

First time to this place. Went with friends for dinner. Sat outside on the patio. Atmosphere was nice. Ordered the family tray for 4, hummus, KASHKE BADEMJAN, tadiq, lentil soup. Meat was next level. Juicy, tender, and melts in your mouth. Rest of the food tasted great as well. I highly recommend this place. Definitely going there again next time I'm in town.

Excellent quality food and service. Great choices for vegetarians too. In the past I've gotten the loobia rice, mediterranean veggie combo, and the grape leaves plate and hummus, all of which are amazing.

I also highly recommend the persian ice cream, which is amazing (it's like regular ice cream but a bit lighter and smoother with bits of pistachio in it).

Prices are good too.

We went there with our Iranian friends who ordered Ghorme sabzi and Tahdig for us. Both are really delicious and unique dishes that we never tried before. Our friends also said this is the best Tahdig they have had in a restaurant in the U.S.

Great Kabab place with delicious flavors from Iran. It is worth checking out. Our hostess was the best she took us in with only 50 minutes left to close out but managed to provide us with top notch service.

We got take out and loved it. Huge quantity and very fresh.

A real nice local place. The roasted tomato kebab is excellent if you like tomatoes, and the lentil soup and doogh are my favorites.

Everything was great, 5 out of 6 dishes were perfect, comfortable atmosphere, looked like they do a lot of takeout, family feel with noticeable attention to detail.

Very tasty kebabs. We tried tenderloin, ground beef and chicken kebab and all were the best in MA we have ever tried. The price is very reasonable. 100% recommend.

Another fantastic night at Mediteranian Grill in Cambridge.
The food was awesome, as usual. Highly recommend it for persian cuisine. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
