Dr. Shadi is the BEST DENTIST ever! Knowledgeable and professional, he doesn’t make you question the quality of work that is being done in your mouth! My anxiety levels immediately depleted the moment I got to know him. I truly trust him, and he does have a certain way about him that cuts to the chase but at the same time makes you feel so calm and so confident in him. I cannot say enough good things about this dentist. I had TONS of work done. All very stressful and not fun - But Avalon made it all worth it. Honestly the whole team, including the other dentists, the hygienists, as well as receptionists, etc - are wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable! Don’t go anywhere else!!

Best dentist ever! I had a wisdom tooth that had to come out (I was procrastinating big time due to my fear of dentist). Dr. Singh was very professional, I didn't feel a thing during the entire process. He walked me through it all.
Since then, I have had all my fillings replaced as well as some minor dental work. I totally recommend him! His staff is really nice too! Thank you Avalon Dental!

Dr Singh is wonderful and his clinic is the best I've ever been to. Dr Singh is gentle, personable, and loves to educate his patients. The staff is incredible and very caring, always brightening my day. I have been beyond pleased with my treatment. Dr. Singh is awesome. Even when he drilling or scraping or doing usual unpleasant dental work, he makes it as easy as possible. And as amazing as that is, that's not the first reason I'm Team Singh. The first reason is how much he cares. He demonstrates this by taking his time when talking to you. He's not pushing patients through like on some Dental Assembly Line. He explains what he's doing while he's doing it. He googles images and visual aides to help explain what he's talking about. He makes you feel like he genuinely cares for you and your teeth. Patient for life.

P.S. Oh yeah, and the facility is nice with great (free) parking and all those logistical things.

Dr. Prokupets was fantastic. She was extremely gentle and precise when working with me and took the time to clearly lay out all my options with some minor procedures. She made my visit peaceful and pleasant. The office is very bright and clean and there was no wait time. My teeth are the cleanest and whitest they have ever been! I will certainly be back.

I have been coming to Avalon Dental a little while now. I am very please with the care and the politeness of the staff. I have done a minor surgery done recently and it feels like it did not even happen. Everything heals up quickly and nicely. They make you feel like you are their only patient. Thank you Avalon.

I been coming to Avalon for some time now & personally I think it's great especially at the new Assembly location. I used go to the Temple Rd Somerville location but Dr. Svetlana Dvechenko is at the Assembly location mostly now & even though it's more of a drive for me I honestly don't mind. She's very understanding & all the work she's done for me from cavity fillings to my Invisalign treatment, she's been clear, thorough and all her work has been painless. The staff at the location as well are so much more accommodating and one day I had to change my scheduled time last minute & they were able to book me later on & at the time I needed. The staff & Dr. Svetlana are happy & unbothered!

Dr. Prokupets is THE most gentle dentist I have ever experienced. Maybe it was her hot pink gloves, but my cleaning was a breeze and I did not feel any discomfort. When she administered novocain for my filling I literally did not feel a thing. I really appreciate how modern the office is and how much new tech they use. Dr. Prokupets is young and bright and really enjoys what she does.

If you live or work in the Somerville area she is also very conveniently located. There is tons of easy parking and Assembly Square is also really awesome and filled with great shopping.

I have always had a fear of the dentist which led to not going for the last 5 years. I found Dr .Miskulin on Google and after reading the reviews, I pushed my fears aside and made an appointment. Not only were they accommodating with scheduling, but I was able to get in fast. Dr. Miskulin was gentle and kind and everything she did, she explained what she was doing. If you have a fear of the dentist like I did - go see Dr. Miskulin!

Couldn’t ask for a better dental place to go to, never disappoints. Receptionists are wonderful! Yancy & Adrienne are the best people, they always make my day whenever I go. Definitely recommend Avalon for the greatest dental experience!
