Decent selection for a smaller neighborhood store. The employees are always helpful and nice, say hello when you come in. I've never asked for help myself, but they always sound helpful with others in making selections. Their prices seem pretty good for wine, which is all I buy there. It's close and convenient, I like it! 5 stars.

This place hits both service and selection. For a small place it is packed to the gills with all sorts of great bottles. In terms of service I can't name another store with such knowledgeable staff. The manager may look young but he knows just about every bottle on the shelf and is happy to recommend or just chat about all things spirits. You're in good hands as soon as you walk in the door.

Idk who vinta is but your saltly. Got a recommendation from the kid at the counter who does have red hair about a whisky that would make me frisky and it ended at 3rd base on my date 5 out 5 would take this dudes suggestions.

Love these guys! Always very helpful and informative. Samuel is an absolute legend, he really knows his stuff!! Any whiskey lovers need to have a chat with him and you’ll be impressed with his knowledge! Will always choose East Ave over any store in the city!

Samuel was an absolute delight. Great personality, and very helpful. The store did not have in stock the product I was looking for. He went out of his way to make a personal connection with me and help me locate where I might find it at a competitor. A true example of customer service and valuable asset to this small business.

This is literally the best liquor store in the city. The prices are better than marketview and literally the nicest people work there. They are so knowledgeable and so helpful. I went in tonight at like quarter to nine before they were going to close, I felt so bad. The manager Sam was freaking awesome, so friendly, I learned a ton about Tequila, and what was super cool is that he didn’t want me to waste my money on something that wasn’t great quality. He was going to be upfront and honest with me. I typically don’t write reviews, but I had to this place is awesome!

A wide variety of alcohol, especially the wine collection is very good.

I’ve always had extremely positive experiences at this store. All the people working there are very friendly and knowledgeable. I moved to Syracuse recently but I still might drive to Rochester to get my liquor and wine from here. It’s THAT good.

Also friendly and helpful staff who do go above and beyond what is expected of them, I've seen the owner help an elderly customer down the stairs out to her car and then carry out her purchases with a smile. I stopped in last night to grab a bottle of wine and was greeted by an employee in the parking lot telling me that they are encouraging curbside service. I told the employee what I was looking for and he took my card and grabbed it from inside. He returned probably less than a minute later with my receipt and wine, and treats for the dogs in the back seat! I’ll be getting alcohol from this place and this place only while I’m in Rochester!

Very good anti-COVID practice. They just installed air purifier, too. Now starting to be able to walk in with a mask. Great business. Very honest and ethical!

Great little liquor store. A great selection for the size and, more importantly, the staff is very nice and helpful. They even walk your cases out to the car with you without asking. Stupendous service!

The best thing about the place is the staff - they are super friendly and helpful if you need a recommendation or direction to something specific or just being friendly while you're checking out.

Small liquor store tucked away just down the street from the East Ave Wegmans. Only a few parking spots out front, a few more in the back, most of the time its not a problem but during rush times it can get tricky.

The store has a good/broad selection of pretty much any essential you'd need. Because it's a small store there is obviously not as extensive imports etc. as Marketview or Century but they have all the standard stuff you'd want. There is a nice cooler in the back with a cold wine/champagne selection that can come in handy

Friendly, knowledgeable staff ways willing to help steer you if you need it. Excellent prices and selection. Gift wrapping available all the time as well, and quickly.
