Price Rite Marketplace of University Ave.

It's great that Rochester has its own Latina specific store that is so well stock with representations of Latin American foods. In many cases, this is the only place in the city you will find certain South and Central American ingredients. It's also a pleasant place to shop because most of the customers are Spanish speaking and bring with then elements of their own unique culture. I always have friendly interactions and conversations with other customers there. The front employees not so much, especially compared to Wegmans, but overall atmosphere, specialty products, well-stock shelves, and quality of goods are on par with Wegmans yet with significantly better prices.

Always enjoy my trip to Price Rite where I know I can find Puerto Rican cooking staples like, Calabaza, Recao, platanos, sofritos, Yautia, Name, Batatas and Pork roast perfect for roasting into Pernil! If they could find a way to stock ajís dulces then I would be over the moon.

Having Price Rite in your neighborhood is a lifesaver. The store is small enough where you don't have to get lost trying to find what you need. I know right where things are and can be in and out in 5 mins with fresh food. They have all the same brands as Wegmans does but somehow the same stuff at Wegmans is always 3x more. You also might discover some restaurant quality brands you didn't know before which are so good and large size for hungry people like me. The Price Rite brand Bowl & Basket is excellent and very affordable, something rare these days. The store is very simple and basic, no frills approach, this is great I don't wanna pay for a fancy grocery store I just want fresh food on my table fast! Easy to park and run in, get back home and start cooking whatever you were craving! Reminds me of the way neighborhood grocery stores used to be not like these gigantic super stores which are just overwhelming and expensive. Thank you Price Rite!

Great place to shop. Clean store everything you need in shopping great prices and for us New York City folks that love Cheese Wiz you know what I mean , well they have Cheese Wiz, trust me u are not going to find this anywhere else in rottenchester. Love my cheese wiz with warm bread 🍞 eggs and bacon. It's a Brooklyn thing.

Very nice store on University Ave. The prices are great as well as their products & produce. It was very clean & the manager was very helpful.

I love the variety here. As a Trinidadian I was pleasantly surprised to see some local snacks at this grocery store!

Price Rite remodeled and re-Grand Opened the University Ave store in March 2020. Aside from great prices throughout the store, it's clean, well-stocked, and has a pretty large produce department that looks really fresh and great. The employees seem to really take pride in the store.

This location is clean, reasonably priced, fresh and the employees rock!

Third time going to Price Rite. Because of the advertisement. Went to buy mangoes, and avocados and olive oil. I ended up buying a lot more because of the affordable prices. Definitely I will go back.

Gwen is awesome! She is kind and very thoughtful of Price Rite customers. Always a pleasure to check out with her. I don't know all of the cashiers names, however, they are all great when dealing with customers. I never have any problems with the staff at the University store. Great team players!

This is a new, big, Clean store! They almost never have as long of lines as the driving park location does

I went here for the first time and without a mask and everyone was looking at me like I was crazy. I know I was wrong and I'll never do it again and tbh I forgot about it in the car. Other then that the store is great, clean, cheap prices, and friendly employees.
