Henry's Convenience Market

Food is fantastic, plenty of reviews will agree. I get kabob once a week at least and it's awesome and isn't a greasy mess.

But what I love is that on one end of Merchants is a 7/11 with high prices, boring options and unhealthy prepared food. At Henry's, it's a friendly crew, a wide variety of LOCAL options for snacks and drinks, along with name brands, and very reasonable prices.

A true community store that is actually part of the neighborhood, rather than a big corporate chain like 7/11. Can't buy that.

Well worth the walk up Merchants.

The food and the service are incredible, truly a local gem. The food is very reasonably priced for large portions and the store is always clean and friendly. Jay and Reese do an absolutely admirable job, feels like a real community spot that makes life on Merchants Rd that much better.

My first time eating there today, food was delicious. Definitely worth checking out. Clean, well stocked store with friendly staff.

Jay reopened the grill and is serving delicious Afghan food as well as American favorites. The portions are big and it’s a good value. Fantastic flavor! The Bolani is so tasty. I got mine with green chutney. The Chana is delicious and is a very big portion. The chicken gyro is a great value. A lot of food for the price. Jay is welcoming and patient with explaining the menu. A great spot for good eats!

I want to work my way through the menu at the counter, but the manto is so delicious that I'm stuck on it! I do want to try their other items for sure. Clean, orderly shop.

I highly recommend my neighborhood market the vegetables are fresh & the gyros are huge! the owners are friendly! & the store is well stocked & clean !!!!

Had a really good dinner from Jay's tonight. Got the gyro over rice and it was really good and a huge portion! Will definitely be going there again to try other foods!

Love this store. Love that you can buy individualized items from a bulk. Love the community feeling when you walk in.

Jay's Kitchen makes excellent food. Jay talked me through my choices—he recommended the regular beef kabob over the beef seekh (groud beef) kabob—I will definitely be coming back to try the manto. I might call ahead next time rather than order at the counter, but the staff were very friendly and chatted with me while the food was prepared.

I stopped in today and bought a beef gyros for lunch. It was delicious and portioned enough so I had some for dinner as well. Definitely going back.

Excellent corner store to grab drinks, food or lotto. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is fairly priced and delicious. Can't recommend this place enough!

The owner of the store is very friendly. I love coming in here and playing my lottery numbers and they have good cook food.

Love that store. Staff is the best and food is great! Very clean in there. They are always doing renovations to please the customers. They even have a nice area to play Quick Draw.
