Great for a quick trail run. Not muddy, just enough incline to sweat. The parking lot only has a few spots but seemed to have enough capacity. Several folks had their dogs enjoying being offleash. Everyone was friendly!

Beautiful! Slightly buggy. Great place to catch fish and frogs, take a walk, bring the dog. Scoop the poop please. Regarding fish, it's a nice place to take kids. Lots of different types of smaller fish. Frogs and other critters to discover if they get bored. Benches in various places to rest as well. Parking lot is snug, a bit easy to miss as well.

Beautiful woods and trails. We even saw a snapper in the small pond on the trail. It's very cool to see. Map was easy to follow. We walked the trail for about an hour.

Fun little loop around a pond area with kids. Just long enough to call it a hike and fun enough to keep the littles interested and engaged! Their favorite was climbing on the big rock area and crossing then many bridges. A Wayland treasure!

Beautiful and varied area to go for a walk or easy to moderate hike. We take our two young kids and dogs here all the time. As a warning, cell phone coverage is spotty at times, so either take a paper map or a screenshot/photo of the trails prior to getting too far in. The trails are easy to follow, but crisscross in a few areas and it can be easy to accidentally pop onto the wrong trail. The lake is a great landmark to stay oriented, and just a slow amble around that body of water is very pleasant. One shore is a bit rugged from tree falls from recent storms, so be prepared to climb over fallen trees or step over some muddy areas if you plan on doing the full loop around.

Beautiful trails. The loop around the ponds is gorgeous, but can be muddy or flooded in several spots. Parking is limited and tends to fill up on nice weekend days.

I always go here for a quiet escape, and it never disappoints in the gorgeous snippets of nature you'll find here year round.

Great woodland area with plenty of wildlife (beavers, squirrels, rabbits etc.) and a great place to take your dog for some fun in the woods. Careful though, its easy to get lost the deeper you go.

Beautiful spot to roast one. I love that it’s fairly rustic and not overly manicured. Tons of wildlife.

This is a very nice hiking park. Basically you will be walking in people's backyards but the forest is healthy and peaceful.

Enjoyed this short walk through the woods, dog friendly. Parking area is small so be prepared to wait for a spot.

A fine walk around the old Wayland reservoir with the dog. Many geese stopping by on their way south.

Loved my walk, for 3.5 miles in the woods, we seldom saw people. Peaceful, quiet and safe

Can get a bit crowded, as it is pretty popular, but a really lovely place to walk. Trails are sometimes muddy.

Very well marked as trails go with little map kiosks periodically. Scenic and turtles in the pond as a bonus.
