What a gem. Lovely local yarn store with a wide variety of materials and accessories for your next knitting project. Annie, the owner, is fabulous - incredibly knowledgeable and patient with beginners like me. I am so grateful for her help getting me over the hump with several projects. I stop in to shop here—and to soak up some of Annie’s advice—as often as I can!

Lovely local yarn shop! I've been here a few times, and each time I've gotten personal help from them to pick out just what I need. They have high quality knitting needles and yarns of all kinds.

Came in with a design in mind but no pattern. Annie not only drew up a pattern for me, but made sure I left with a good understanding of how it works and what I'll need. They also have a great selection of yarns. Great place for beginners and seasoned Knitters alike.

Mind's Eye has become my favorite yarn store. The yarn selection is fantastic, and the staff gives you personalized advice. They even learn who you are and what you like, and you can't ask much more than that. Go here! Buy yarn!

It's smaller than a lot of other yarn stores, and can feel cramped at times, but it's a lovely little yarn store. They have a great selection of Plymouth yarns, but you can find Malabrigo and just so many smaller dyers. The button selection is nice as well. During the annual Greater Boston Yarn Crawl they offer grab bags of mystery yarn and you always get amazing yarn for a low low price. This is also one of the places I first bought a JessaLu project bag. If you're visiting the Boston area as a knitter, this is a must-see and their close proximity to the Red line makes it that much easier.

This is one of my favorite yarn shops. There isn't a whole lot of space inside the store, but it means that the selection of yarns they carry is very well-curated. The store employees are also very helpful!

Just needed a skein of Malabrigo worsted stone blue. I knew it wouldn't be the same dye lot, but the clerk pulled out every skein they had so I could get the closest match. I checked out the rest of the store too. Lots of great yarns, lots of projects knit up so you can see how they look, even a small selection of wool roving for felters and spinners. Small but unique selection of buttons and accessories. Parking lot next door was crowded on the weekend, but made the store accessible by car. It is also near the Porter Square T- stop.

Small but has an amazing selection of beautiful yarns, including a good range of hand dyed yarns such as malabrigo (my current go-to). The staff are always super helpful and friendly too!

Such a nice shop! Wide inventory, helpful staff, some unusual and delicious product, including high end non-woolen fiber. Lots of cool finished items. Wide selection of notions. My three non-knitters were welcomed in most welcomingly, and they taught my husband to use the swift and ball winder! Will certainly go back.

My assigned mission, to pick out the yarn for a scarf. I felt well guided; the vibe was mellow and caring. I found a beautiful yarn, and the knitter of the two of us was given a pattern, customized on the spot. Very happy that we found this place.

Love Mind's eye!! I consider this place my LYS and almost always come here first. Staff are so knowledgeable, creative and helpful! Just a wonderful place to be. It's also part of the Greater Boston Yarn Crawl.

The most beautiful yarn store in the area, always with the best and freshest selection of yarns. Best advice on any knitting or yarn question I ever had.

I came looking for a mystery yarn, and the person working was so nice, trying to help me figure out what the fiber was and where to look for it. Cozy and friendly place.
