Bucolic! Well-marked trails offer varying degrees of difficulty. We stayed on the red trail and enjoyed solitude except for crossing paths with the occasional runner or family. I’d bring lunch to eat by the canoe landing area if I were return. Not much parking, but you can prepare with info from the Trustees website.

Excellent trails. Some quite steep and needing attention to hike. Overlooks, water and some swamp if you want it. All accessed through a pastoral meadow.

Very nice, quiet, dog-friendly park. The main red loop is about 2 miles and is very well marked with varied terrain. The parking lot is very small. Online it says the lot is limited to 6 cars but on site the sign says the limit is 5.

I Thank You♡ Long open fields, a few homes to be aware of, as well as fellow ongoers, but awe-inspiring natural diversity. A place to Appreciate! Especially when the reason why the area is called the Rocky Narrows becomes clear😄. Mindful walking, peaceful while wondering the ascent, you may just find a lil pocket of serenity elevated stillness. If not, there's more than plenty to be grateful for during a stroll.

A very moderate hike with big pay off. The part above the Charles River is by far the prettiest. Being there in mid summer views of the river below were scant but I could here the distant sound of paddling. The trail was lush and absolutely gorgeous. Only met a couple of other hikers mid week

Nice trails. A few downed trees but overall well maintained and marked. Went to King Philip's overlook with two kiddos under 7. Parking is limited to 5 cars at Forest & Lake so have backup plan if going on weekend.

A great trail connecting to the Sherborn town forest. The trails are well marked, easy to follow, and very well maintained. There are some great scenic viewpoints and access points to the Charles river. Be aware -- there are only 5 parking spots at the trailhead, so best to get there nice and early. The advantage is this limits the number of groups that can be on the trail at any one time! The town allows bow hunting by permit Oct 16 through Dec 31, so best to have some bright colors on you and your dog -- better safe than sorry!

First time I came here I just did the Red Loop Trail and thought it was so-so. Came back a second time and did the Blue Trail and that completely changed my opinion of this place. Blue is a beautiful scenic trail. Take marker 14/15 for Phillips Overlook. Cooler, dryer weather is best so there aren't too many mosquitoes and the trails aren't muddy.

One of my favorite off-leash dog walks. Some trails along level terrain along the Charles river with a few open grassy areas, or trails over moderate short hills through dense wood. The view from King Phillips overlook is nice

Great place for a small hike/walk. Great for dogs as well. The paths are very clean and a few vistas with great views to find. Parking can be limited at times.

Very nice, well maintained trails. Nicely battled and blazed, with periodic maps. The lookouts have great views with easy walks to access them.

Being a devoted dog mom based on the edge of Boston proper, I'm always in search of new expanses of land to venture to with my dog, wishing also, naturally, for scenery to sweep me out of the cloak of urbanity pinned to my mind. This hit the mark on an afternoon the nearby Broadmoor let me down with its dog ban- a lovely area for a low key stroll or run, though beware limited parking and muddy spots, a likely joy for birders and families.

I love the trees, fields, river and trails. I love tke hawk, rabbit, deer and turtle. The quiet is soothing. Good for a 15-minute or 150 minute vacation.

Beautiful scenery and easy to hike the only downside is that there is very little parking
