Great experience working with Catchlight! Alex and the crew did an amazing job on the exterior of our 1890's home. They took great care to scrape the old paint and contain any debris, and worked patiently with us to get the accents just as we wanted them, made helpful suggestions, and went back over to fix any imperfections that we spotted. The price was reasonable and the job was completed within budget. Would highly recommend Catchlight to anyone looking for a reliable paint contractor!

We used Catchlight for an interior job. We have a 1800’s farm house so it needed a little more TLC. The crew did an amazing job, were on time and were able to complete the work on time and within budget. They whole team from the office staff to onsite team were communicative and professional during the whole process. Highly recommend them and will be using them again for any future projects.

I highly recommend Catchlight Painting. Mackenzie, the office assistant, emailed regularly to confirm appointments for initial visit, then the day the work was done. She offered a back-up person in the office as she would be on vacation and offered the painters mobile number as well. Chris was the initial contact as painter and Marcos actually did the work. Thumbs up for them both.

They painted a banister and it is supremely gorgeous!! No paint on walls, everything is perfect!

We needed a 100+ year old window bench sanded and Catchlight did a great job. The sanding was very complete: the old finish was removed and the wood was very smooth and ready for the finish(I choose to finish it myself) They were very neat and no sawdust was left. Although this was a small job, I am extremely pleased with Catchlight and highly recommend them.

I rarely write reviews, but Catchlight Painting is worth it. Of the MANY contractors we've had work on our house since moving in, these guys stood out.

They are pricey but you get what you pay for. They are professional, perfectionist. We have hired them for an indoor project for one of our condo and they have done above and beyond. Their attention to detail is something you don’t see in others.

The contractor I was working with was overloaded so referred me to Catchlight Painting who he knew had a crew of carpenters who were often available to do small projects. And they did, indeed, do a perfect job. And they were courteous, responsive and helpful in every way. Clearly, the company has a philosophy of quality and service. Not inexpensive, but happy with the result. Recommend!

Chris came and did our estimate, then returned soon after to address both issues we asked him to fix. He improvised a good solution for one of them. The person who accompanied Chris did a great job getting into a tricky place to do the other. We're very happy with the result, the work was great, the quality excellent, and the prices was right. Mackenzie, who handled the scheduling and billing over the phone, was also very friendly and helpful. We would recommend Catchlight Handyman services to anyone else without hesitation.

I had an incredible experience with Catchlight. I was repainting a couple rooms in my house. The folks who answer the phones and do the estimates are extremely friendly, communicative, and easy to work with. The painters themselves (Doug and Justin) did a spectacular job and were highly professional. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail were impressive indeed. The prices were not cheap but perfectly reasonable. I give Catchlight my highest recommendation.

We had a few minor updates to make at the request of buyers of our condo that needed to be done in a timely manner. A reinforcement of a sink fixture, and a stair/cupboard securement. Michael and his team were accommodating to our fast timeline, supplied the pricing/quote ahead of time so we understood estimated cost and completed the work easily. Very happy with their work! Would hire them again.

Perfect repair of a water damage done quickly and professionally. It was nice to have someone whom I trusted immediately— there was no reason to second guess his strategy to deal with sagging sheetrock. Catchlight had been recommended for a different difficult job and I would have been wise to use them.

Catchlight painted a few walls, ceiling and molding for me in my Roslindale condo. t's hard to paint the molding of these old Boston homes and have it look good but Catchlight did. Furthermore, they were on time and very kind and professional.

Catchlight Painting did interior post-remodeling drywall repair/touch-up and painting. The front-end communication and quote process with Scott was efficient and accurate. Every one of the three painters who worked on my job was professional, friendly and highly skilled. Their work was impeccable and they left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Catchlight painting is a rare find. These people are competent, caring, respectful, polite, and all around nice. And, they do a great job. They stand by their work and are very fair in their interactions with you. They did my garage floor and basement floors with beautiful epoxy coatings.

We used Catchlight to do extensive painting (walls, kitchen cabinets, exterior touchup) in order to get our house ready to sell last spring, and then for the walls in our new place. They were great across the board - polite and punctual, and the quality was truly superior. Our kitchen looked like new after they were done, as did the rest of the house.
