A PLAYce 2 Learn

A Playce 2 Learn is such an amazing school for young children. Mrs. Cindy and her staff provide the perfect environment for kids to learn in whichever way they choose- whether through play, worksheets, songs, or exploring the world around them. On top of that, the AP2L community is like a second family to our daughter and she loves going to school!

I found a gem in Cortlandt Manor! Mrs. Cindy and Mrs. Kim are amazing ladies. My 3 year old daughter absolutely adore them. If you are contemplating putting your child in a daycare, I strongly recommend A PLAYce 2 Learn. My daughter has attend this daycare for a month and can now recite the abc's and can count to 10. She has become super social, starting conversations, with just about anyone she encounters. I give this place 2 thumbs up. Love you Mrs. Cindy and Mrs. Kim.

A Playce 2 Learn 💕 is an amazing place for children. It's a home away from home. Cindy and her staff are caring, loving individuals who treat my children like their own. My children have made many close friends at AP2L. This place is a hidden gem. AP2L offers a day full of learning, fun and discovery. Cindy always tries to find new things that are interesting and appealing to all the children within her program all while maintaining safety as her first priority. I'm so lucky to have found AP2L!

Ms. Cindy is an amazing teacher but, most of all, caretaker to our children. During one of our most frantic years, 2020-2021, Cindy opened her home and program to both our children when we literally felt like we had nowhere else to turn. They loved being welcomed with open arms to the AP2L family. They thrived during remote learning and found a new group of friends. We were fortunate to continue our relationship after and Cindy has always been accommodating to our childcare needs. We are so happy to have found her and would recommend her to anyone.

My daughter has been part of the AP2L family for just about a year now. Cindy and Kim are absolutely marvelous, extremely detailed oriented and passionate about teaching young children as well as older children. The offer a nurturing, inviting and quality learning environment where I have seen my daughter evolve tremendously in just a short year. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Ms. Cindy is a wonderful teacher and director. She has created a very educational and loving environment and hires trustworthy and kind staff. She is organized and responsive to all concerns. I know she'll continue to be sensitive to my child's needs and supportive of her learning. I know that my child is not only safe, but will come home having learned something new.

Great hours for working parents. Best of all my kids love going to daycare. My 5 year old is there full-time and is more than ready to start Kindergarten in September thanks to Mrs. Cindy. She makes learning fun and changes things up so they are always excited to go. My 8 year old is there for aftercare. She loves the safe and comfortable environment that Mrs. Cindy provides. She can learn where she is comfortable and ask for a challenge when she’s ready. They are learning so much about science, writing and even learning script. Mrs. Cindy is helping to sustain their love of learning by encouraging them and assisting them when they need it. We are so happy to have found A PLAYce 2 Learn.

My kids love Mrs Cindy, she is an amazing teacher, I am so impressed with the progress academically and other aspects as well in such short period of time. My kids are learning so much there, she has a gift when comes to kids. She is a role model, teacher, friend and a second mom to my kids, literally a home away from home. One is in pre-school and the other is in after-school.

I'm so fortunate to have found Mrs. Cindy to nurture and teach both of my boys (age 10 & 4) this summer! She is absolutely phenomenal and my boys won't stop talking about all the fun and learning they did this summer. I was impressed with some of the topics they learned, I even learned a few things from them! Mrs. Cindy is very attentive and compassionate and will treat your children as if they are her own. It's been amazing to watch the positive impact this has made for my boys! She combines fun and educational structure. She's truly amazing and I can't thank her enough!!!

First of all Cindy is one of the best moms and people I have ever met. Second, she has a passion for children and her dream of helping to shape their lives. I would, without question, trust Cindy with my children's education and more importantly, their well-being. I strongly recommend for your children's early education needs.

Cindy is amazing! She was meant to teach pre-schoolers. She has a natural ability to bring out the absolute best in every child by focusing and adapting to their needs. She is very creative and by finding ways to incorporate playing into learning, the children seem to learn so much more because they are excited to share what they have created. I would absolutely recommend Cindy!

Cindy is a natural whey children. She talks to them without talking down to them. She’s engaging and fun. They learn a lot by doing and playing. The best way for children to learn. I recommend her to everybody.

Cindy is great, I love her center! I love how she was with my kids ( Israel-4, Leila-2) this summer. I had a very good experience; she is very informative, very caring, and very patient. But even better, my kids really enjoyed going everyday.

We love love love AP2L!! We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher for our daughter Zoe. She just graduated from pre-K3 and I cannot believe how much she’s learned at a place to learn. She wouldn’t even listen to write her name with me and she now knows how to write all of her ABCs, her name and so much more. I cannot recommend this place enough. it’s a small program but she is very very knowledgeable and is an amazing teacher. I recommend a place to learn to all my friends & family!

This place is awesome! Cindy cares so much about children and their education so she has all these learning games that make it all fun! She is kind, caring and i know they’re happy and safe! She’s like a “mom” for my kids when I have to work! I trust her with my children ❤

I had a very unpleasant experience with this place & Cindy. I read all the reviews and met with her in person and it all sounded great. Signed my child up for the program with the understanding that she would be given time to adjust as she had never been in the care of anyone other than a family member. All that just for Cindy to kick her out of it after 2 half days (8hrs total). Although I do not agree with her reasoning and do not thing my child was even given a chance, that is not what lead me to this review. It is the fact that Cindy handled the situation very poorly and was not honest/transparent. We had conversations in person both times at pick up and she let me know what my child was struggling with but on both occasions she expressed that we needed to give her time to adjust. She never mentioned the possibility that she may not be able to continue in the program. My child was out sick the 3rd day and I let her know the evening before and asked her about the following week’s schedule. Did not receive a response from Cindy until I followed up 48hrs later. She responded by letting me know she could no longer have my child in the program. Once I expressed my disapproval of how it was handled, then she offered a meeting. I declined and only asked to pick up my child’s belongings. We set a time and she then tried to change the time on me the night before. I went at the agreed upon time and she just left her things outside on the driveway. Did not even have the decency to show face. She is very dishonest and says one thing in person than changes her mind and says another thing via email. Waste of time and money.

Your response only shows you are missing the point. The problem is not her not being in the program as it was clearly not a good fit for us or you. The issue is your lack of honesty and poor communication. Clearly you have a hard time understanding that.
