We worked recently with Carrie and Eddie to get ideas and tile for our front entryway and rear mudroom. After visiting virtually all the tiles stores on Tile Mile, we found United to be the best by far. They listened to want we wanted, gave us great advice and options, and were so supportive throughout the process. Our situation was complicated since we wanted quite different tile for the two locations. They helped us select a perfect porcelain tile for the mudroom which we installed ourselves and it came out fantastic. Then, when trying to determine what to put in the very small entryway, Eddie came up with the idea about using a few leftover boxes he had of quite high end Spanish marble tile. It was great quality and a wonderful fit for the space. They deeply discounted the price so it was no more expensive than the porcelain tile, and then threw in the grout and quick set concrete for free. We can't say enough about how good an experience we had with United. Thanks Eddie and Carrie!

We absolutely loved working with Carrie and Eddie on our home renovation! From the moment we stepped into their store, they made us feel comfortable like we were long time friends. They helped us pick everything with thoughtful consideration to our needs, family lifestyle, and aesthetics. I am beyond happy with all of our choices and it looks great. I would 1000 times come back here for any future tile needs (hopefully not any time soon after this project)!

Carrie and Eddie are awesome! They are well versed in all of their products, vendors, and design. I have used their services on multiple projects from kitchen, bath, to fireplace hearth. Carrie is always a great design source! They also have great installers and take care of everything from start to finish. Chico the Fabricator did a great job designing the layout and installing our fireplace hearth. The best of the best and I have worked with many stores and people!

Highly recommend United Tile of Watertown. I worked with Carrie over a period of several months due to delays in bathroom renovation plans. She was very helpful in making suggestions and identifying products that met my design ideas. During project we were short a couple of pieces of tile, and Eddie worked with my contractor to expedite delivery of the needed tiles. The finished walk-in shower is gorgeous and I am more than happy with the results!

Selection and service are only two words but they say everything about United Tile America.

Selection
None of the big box stores, independent shops, and online retailers in my search sell a porcelain tile that could be mistaken for wood. United Tile America does: the aptly named “Lacquered Wood”. Under a soft glow that hints at a freshly polished floor, the 3-dimension wood grain has fooled more than one hardwood fan on first look!

Service
Owners Carrie and Eddie found the discontinued grout color that allows the seams to “disappear”. They had the tiles and the grout, did they have someone to install them? When told that they generally don’t recommend installers, my project seemed jeopardized. My sub floor needed more than an average tradesman. It needed someone with the expertise to eliminate the fall risks of thresholds while repairing water damage. Carrie came through with the name of a contractor that is highly skilled and based on the work he did for me, anyone should be confident to recommend.

After too many weeks searching for flooring that would make me feel good about my investment, I’m glad that that I walked into that little shop and met Carrie, Eddie, and “my” laquered wood tile.

Great selection, prices, and expertise

I shopped around several tile shops for my reno which went through many non-tile-related delays (the gist: I had a lot of time to look at tile shops). I kept going back to United Tile for their selection and expert help, and was pleasantly surprised by the prices when I got my estimates. Carrie helped me pick out tile and countertops for my entry, kitchen and bathroom. I had a lot of ideas and questions, and she advised me on what would work best for my space, as well as what was in stock. She really knows her stuff!

The result: I'm thrilled with my renovation! Thank you United Tile and Carrie!

We had a gut renovation on our bathroom, and used United Tile as our supplier. They were very helpful with design suggestions, and worked closely with our contractor (Frank Cosco) for delivery. We were very pleased with the options available in their showroom, and with the suggestions they provided. The bathroom came out beautifully; we couldn't be happier. Carrie and Eddie at United Tile in Watertown are fantastic. I first came to their store looking for granite countertops for my kitchen remodel. Eddie patiently walked me through many options (including in person at the fabricator where I could see the actual slabs) and, once I had made my selection, Carrie kept everything running smoothly by scheduling the installation super promptly. The pricing for the stone and the installation was extremely reasonable. Because I had such a great experience with the countertops, I came back to United Tile for my backsplash. I had a sense of what I wanted, but it was Eddie who came up with a brilliant idea to give me the perfect look for a totally affordable price. I highly recommend this terrific team!

Carrie and Eddie are wonderful and United Tile is a fantastic place. We have renovated two houses from top to bottom and Carrie was so incredibly helpful in helping me choose tile and counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms for both renovations. She immediately understood my style and made recommendations for products that fit into our budget. All of the product was available in a timely manner and their prices were extremely competitive. The showroom is beautiful and they have many samples of tiles. I cannot recommend United Tile highly enough and will use them again for any future projects.

Excellent customer service and products! Carrie helped us choose tile for several rooms in a home that we gut renovated. She understood our vision and was able to provide excellent advice and options. We so appreciated the help and final results. I stopped in early March without an appointment. Eddie greeted me warmly and spent a lot of time explaining pros and cons of tile for my kitchen backsplash. I had my stone and paint color, so he expertly helped narrow my choices. He knows his stuff and has a great eye. Carrie also jumped in with another color choice that I wasn’t considering but, in the end , selected. I LOVE my tile and cannot say enough about the large selection, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. I was given several tile samples to take home, had a lot of fun, and appreciate their patience — great group of people. I highly give 5 stars

I shopped 4 other tile companies before choosing United Tile America. Each of the 4 were different based on price point. United Tile America had all price points and more large samples. It may have a small front door but the inside goes on forever.

I've worked with United Tile on three separate renovations in my house and have been completely pleased with each outcome. Carrie and Eddie are incredibly helpful and care about the job and the result. Really great to work with. Best place to go for tile and stone.

We were recently in the position of choosing tile for two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a sun room. We had shopped around a bit, but when we walked into United Tile we knew we had found the right place. Carrie was amazing at every step of the way. She immediately understood what we were looking for and steered us to the choices that made sense for us. She was never trying to up-sell and was incredibly thoughtful about making sure that all our choices were available in the timeline that worked for us. She helped us through some minor construction glitches and communicated clearly at every step of the process. Both Carrie and Eddie were wonderful to deal with. We would never go anywhere else.

I went there trying to match a tile so I could use some that I already had. The gentleman, who I assume was the owner, couldn't have been nicer. Even though we weren't able to locate a match, it was very clear that the customer service is superb.

Eddie and Carrie helped me pick out tile and flooring for 2 of my bathrooms and I couldn't be happier. They were wonderful to work with the service and selection was excellent. This was my first time at United Tile, but they will be my 'go to' for any future work.

His field staff arrived on time for the measuring and installation and were respectful and did a beautiful job.
