Red Oak Pub and Restaurant

Excellent service, very quick and positive. Restrooms are clean and the atmosphere is great. Truly enjoyed our first time here. So many options we know we have to come back. The pot stickers were phenomenal as was the bologna sandwich. Certainly have two new regulars. Thank you!

Just came today again and had Ashley as a server and as our last visit was top notch service and excellent food. Highly recommend this place for great atmosphere and good food.

A restaurant and pub in Newark, Ohio. Usually crowded during mealtimes, but we were seated right away. Salmon was good, California salad was excellent. A sports atmosphere with attentive service.

We visited from 30 minutes away. Typical pub and pub food but great options when we visited for lunch. We had pot stickers with a great spicy sauce, Beer & Cheddar Soup, Ruben Sandwich, hamburger & fries. Everything was great, fries were okay. Wait time was fast and wait staff is pleasant and quick. The place was packed at noon on a Friday. We would go back! Definitely a place you should check out!!

Good menu but the burgers are the show. Award winners for good reason. Meat was perfect. Clean dining room and restrooms. Great parking. In/out seating. Good draft list of locals. Will return!

This is my first time to the Red Oak Pub. The food was excellent, and the fries were amazing. I had a classic cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. My husband had the cheeseburger bologna and bacon burger and steak cut fries. The ice tea was delicious.

Food was excellent! Pork Potstickers, Cheesesticks and tha Buffalo Chicken Dip were all really good. Especially the dip. I had the Meatloaf Panini and it was damn tasty and their battered fries are killer. My sister had the Cobb Salad and it was huge. The Mash with Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus looked phenomenal, and according to my mother, it was. Meal Portions are generous and our server Jaylee was on point! Definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

The beer battered haddock was crispy and delightful and the Oak meatloaf with mashed potatoes and asparagus is hearty and delicious! The true winner of the meal was the sweet potato fries with the sticky delicious caramel sauce and the Sonder Kenosha Kickers fruit beer! Can't wait to try something else on the menu next time!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for a couple of years. We never did because the parking lot was always packed, so we knew the wait time would be long.
Yesterday, as always, the parking lot was full but we decided to see how long the wait list was. It was 5 minutes for outside, 15 minutes for inside. We chose inside, and we're glad we did!
The staff was extremely friendly, and the service was amazing! Our food came out in a very timely manner, and everything tasted great!
If you've never been there, I highly recommend you do! Don't let the full parking lot discourage you!! The staff gets you seated quickly, and they waste no time serving you!
We definitely plan to go back.

We’ve been here a few times with my family of six and my parents. Every time the food has been absolutely incredible and the service friendly and fast. Amazing burgers, salads, and sandwiches. This is a go-to for my family! We’ll be back many more times.

This was our first time there, food was amazing, and the waitress was even better than that, she knew the whole menu and made great suggestions. We will definitely be back.

It was our first time visiting Red Oak Pub. The wait was not as long as we were told, which was great. Our appetizer of spinach artichoke dip came to the table very quickly, and was delicious. Our salads were excellent and the serving size was very generous. Our waiter was very attentive. I would definitely go there again.

This was my first time going and I loved it! Caleb was a great waiter! If you put dirty dishes on the end of the table they took them right away! Made the table always look clean! Not too noisy and the food was amazing! I got a pub oak burger without cheese and onion rings. The onion rings had a great taste and dipped in the sause that comes with the burger was a great duo! The burger had a great charbroiled taste. The sweet tea was sweetened perfectly and the pork potstickers also great! My husband had a meatloaf sandwich and fries. A big sandwich for sure as he only ate half of. The fries were crisp and fresh! Overall 100% would go back! 100% would recommend!

First time at this place.... service was fantastic,food was great just a little to salty for me but then I use less salt then most people as high blood pressure.....but I did enjoy all aspects of this place...👍👍👍👍

We get consistently good service here and the food never disappoints. They are reasonable on their beer prices, too. We have tried many of their menu items through the years. Their burgers are juicy and delicious. Tonight, I tried the meatloaf dinner, AKA Red Oak Mash. Let me tell you, it was fantastic. It was big enough to split with someone. The asparagus makes it healthy. LOL

We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but there was a comfortable waiting area and the friendly staff kept us informed. Our server was great, and the food was delicious.

1st time eating here. We had a group of 6. Everything was so good. We were all so impressed we kept trying each others food because everything looked and tasted so good. A new go to for sure . The staff was amazing as well

Ever enjoy some warm days with your family having a cookout?? Some nice burgers and dessert, maybe your cousin brought some nice buffalo chicken dip? Well this place made it feel just like that! I had a huge filling burger with perfect fries and buffalo chicken dip for appetizer! I’d have to say locally this is my favorite restaurant and I’ve been going here since they opened it. The atmosphere is super chill and it has that real old classical feel like you were just at some pub back in the day, also something really nice is it isn’t crazy with loud drunk adults! At least when I go, if you want a crazy loud drunk person atmosphere there is a roosters and some other bar and grills close. Now the servers are super nice and they do such a good job always asking to fill my drink and always checking in, they were wonderful!!!!! So I always make sure to tip them good. There is outside seating always too and the dessert is quite delicious!!! I had a root beer float for like a small $3 which was not bad at all! So if you want some good food I would recommend going here for sure!!!!!!
