A very cool place and the food was really good. My husband had a pizza and I had the steak salad. We Aldo’s had the cheese curds which were excellent! Very satisfied with our meal and the service. We will be back for more

Love the atmosphere, the interior is gorgeous and excellent music in the background. Service is top notch, our waitress was very quick on refills and knowledgeable of the menu, and made great recommendations. Very clean and organized facility and restrooms. The Philly sandwich with sauce was great! We will certainly return in the future.

My friends and I had a great experience when we walked over to Elliot's for dinner. The food was tasty and they provided great service. We were greeted just after walking in and seated right away. We were seated at a bar-height booth and most of the seating seemed to be that height, but I am not sure if there was more accessible seating available. We ordered the Roasted Red Pepper and Goat Cheese pizza, the Chicken Bacon, and Ranch pizza, and a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich for our entrees, and cheese curds and hummus as our appetizers from the "Hankerings" part of the menu. All the food was wonderful! The hummus plate came with delicious wood fired pita and a nice variety of veggies. The portions were good for the price and we all went home with leftovers. The service from the waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. They even went above and beyond and offered to fill my water bottle for me as we were leaving! I would absolutely recommend them and eat here again.

Delicious food and great service. Would definitely recommend it to anyone nearby or passing through. Everything from drinks, apps, and dinner was Delicious.

This was our first time visiting Elliot's. The atmosphere is very relaxing and clean. Great staff! Perfect for a date night. I ordered their Steakhouse salad and we shared a classic pizza.
Their pizza is amazing and they have a wide beer selection. I enjoyed "That's My Jam Strawberry" Blond Ale, by Saucy Brew Works. Highly recommend!!! I can't wait to try their tacos on our next visit.

Have been here multiple times and love it! The Mamma Dre and Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas are the best. The toasted ravioli is our favorite appetizer.

Got the chicken parm sandwich recently and it was delish!

Several years ago I had a buffalo chicken pizza here and it was (sadly) kind of dry. When I went back I asked them for a buffalo chicken pizza with extra sauce-super saucy- and they did an amazing job. It was very sloppy and delicious. Not the normal but they did what I asked and it was exactly what I love. Thank you 😃

We ordered the fried portobello mushrooms for an appetizer. They were the best mushrooms that we've had in years. We would return just for those.
The sun dried tomato and goat cheese wood for pizza was delicious.

With their great track record with Red Oak Pub in North Newark, we had high hopes for Elliot's when we heard they were opening in the building previously occupied by Sparta Restaurant and Coffee shop. We weren't disappointed! Though it made us a bit nostalgic about our old hangout Sparta, we were happy to see they kept the warm, historic vibe. We split the Spicy Italian wood fired pizza ($8.99), Edgy Greek salad ($6.59), and a piece of the tiramisu cake ($6.59). Their beer selection is great, ever-changing and soon to be featured on a chalkboard so they can keep the latest updates. I tried the Thirsty Dog Sea Dog Wild Blueberry beer and my husband had the Columbus Bohdi IPA, followed by a couple of Yuengling.
They were pretty busy when we got there, so we sat at the bar. The bar seats are comfortable, generous with curved cushioned backs. We were surprised by how quickly we got our food. The service was great and bartender Jessica really made us feel welcome.
The pizza was excellent. The wood fired crust was crispy from first bite to last. The cheese was properly gooey and delicious. The sausage was great on it, too, very flavorful. The edgy Greek salad is served in a generous bowl, so we split that. They were nice enough to split the salad into two smaller bowls for us. Their house vinaigrette is garlicky and wonderful. The tiramisu cake, though not made by them, was great with lots of layers of creamy goodness.
The draft beer prices -- Yuengling was $2.25, the IPA was $6.00 and my blueberry wheat beer was $4.25. Including our tip, we got out of there for just under $50 with tip. We'll stick with domestic beer next time.
All in all, we had a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Stopped by on a bike ride through downtown Newark for lunch. Server was friendly and attentive. Chicken parm sandwich and southwestern slaw was quite good. Will return. Bike friendly.

It was loud and crowded on a Friday night—but the food was incredible.

Stumbled on this little gem while driving past heading to another destination. Sure glad I decided to turn around and give it a chance. Slight wait upon arrival (lunch rush), no problem we wasn't in any hurry at all. Once seated our waitress told she would be back to get our drink order, outta the blue a fellow came and got our drinks starting our waitress was busy with a large group. Found out later it was the ownerand it impressed me, rather than directing an employee to clean up a spill that was on the floor he himself got down and cleared it himself. Food was super fresh and well prepared, great flavor and attention to correctness was phenomenal. This place has a warm inviting feel that makes you believe your appreciated for spending your money there. Every employee had a genuine smile/ conversation with each interaction which was great. Mike (owner) your place is fantastic keep up the great work, not many places I review get a 5 star but your crew and yourself Thursday earned this one.

Really liked the atmosphere and food was delicious. I had the steak salad and marinara cheese. My wife had the braised chicken tacos. We did have a 30+ min wait, it was a Saturday night.

Excellent selection of beer and ciders. And very good wood fire pizza selections. They offer many special ones, in addition to creat-your-own. Many sandwiches, apps, and a few entries. They can get quite busy, but service was excellent and offered great advice. (Thanks Steven.)

From the moment we walked in we felt happy and welcomed. Our server was Jessica and she knocked it out of the park! Not only did you take care of the bar, but you also had the table's; and didn't miss a beat!! The food was super fresh and hot! The restaurant was very clean. The table has sugar, SnP as well as other condiments at your disposal. The Meatball sub was super easy to eat because they they take the time to slice them. The was spot on because there was laying of the cheese. 🧀🥗

First time eating here and everything I ordered was really good.

Ordered a few items and took some home.

First I ate an order of their Buffalo Garlic Parmesean wings.

Flavor was really good and wings were meaty.

Heat on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being hottest I give them a 2 so safe for pretty much everyone.

I also ordered a shrimp pizza the flavor of the pizza was good but not much toppings on the pizza. Shrimp was slightly chewey but not enough to complain about.

Lastly I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla pizza which was fantastic! Definitely recommend it!

Service was great staff very attentive and smiling.

In conclusion if you are in the area and want to stop for some lunch you won't be disappointed!

This place is definitely worth the hype I kept hearing about. The service was so good, the food was on point and the atmosphere is just perfect! I tried the steak street tacos and they were so delicious. My husband enjoyed the pizza and was not disappointed, just something about a wood fired oven cook that makes it so good.
