City Barbeque

As soon as I walked in and smelled the smoke, I knew I was gonna have some good barbecue. The staff were all super friendly and helped us figure out what to get (we ended up with the city sampler). All the meats were super tender, and each sauce paired well with at least one thing. The banana pudding and green beans were some of the best I've ever had. Overall, just a great atmosphere and experience. Wish I lived closer to one.

Yummy BBQ. Reminds me of home. Glad we stopped to get a drink at Duchess, City BBQ is right next door. If back in the area we will stop by again! Atmosphere is great and the employees are awesome!

Went in for a pulled pork sandwich and peach cobbler. Everything was fresh and fast, sauces are great, service is amazing. Peach cobbler tasted a little too almond-y for me, not my favorite.

Last week had catering delivered and set up - 5 stars. We had pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches sandwiches, potato salad, cheese and crackers. Green beans weren’t the biggest hit, but overall everything was great. Definitely recommend!

The service was Exceptional from the moment that we walked into the door we were greeted by a smiling happy employee eager to take our order. Then this staff was extremely helpful when I could not decide on what I wanted and they gave suggestions. The food was ready quick and it was very enjoyable. The only thing that I noticed that this location is different from others that I have visited are when you come in you don't have the three different sizes of containers displayed to show people the sizes as in the individual size and the Pint and the quart size I think that would help people who are visual people pick their order.

We've been eating here since it opened. The baked beans are phenomenal and I always wish I'd gotten more. Brisket is solid, the pork is fantastic. You really can't go wrong with any of their sides save for the gumbo they used to have on the menu. Not shocked they don't do that one anymore. The hot sauce is perfect and is another item I never get enough of. Try the sweet tea if you dine in. The staff are always friendly and when we do pickup or doordash they always set us up with plenty of plates and plasticware.

this was so good! the smells that were coming from the restaurant were amazing. the service was excellent and fast. we ordered the judge’s sampler and everything was on point. delish! i was NOT a fan of the mac and cheese.

we also ordered a banana pudding. it didn’t make it long enough to get a picture. 😉

(I was writing a lengthy review and then my phone refreshed, so I lost it. Here is the summary.) This is my second time eating here, my favorite sides are the mac and cheese and cornbread. The sweet tea is some of the best restaurant tea I’ve ever had. I got the chicken tenders this visit and they are probably the best you can get around this area. I wanted to say thank you again to Cheyenne, a wonderful kind employee with cool pins in her hat, for the act of kindness. I went back up to the counter to order dessert and before I knew it, she swiped her card and said the banana pudding was on her. She was just being kind! I really appreciate it and it made my night. I love seeing kindness spread around. I will be paying it forward. Thank you again, and this is a nice place to be :)

The food was amazing. Mama loved the lolo sandwhich just the way it came. The biggest and picky eater got the pick 2 brisket with sausage collard greens was on point,baked beans was a big hit all the way around. Middle kid got the wings not alot of flavor but tried all the sauces. Little non eater got the mac n cheese with applesauce. 5 stars from us all $60 dinner.

The food here is really good and fresh. They serve the food up fast by the time you get your drink it's usually ready. I definitely recommend the brisket.

I ordered a large amount of food online for pickup right at 11 when they open. It was hot and ready for me as soon as I got there. Amazing food. Love the peach cobbler!

City BBQ has such great food. And I love the variety that you can get. It is a good bang for your buck place too. Tons of food without breaking the bank. And the service is always top notch!

So much more scrumptious than TR across the street . Faster service, too! Vinegar cole slaw and sweet cornbread. Yum. Hubby says ribs are excellent! My chicken meal was cooked well and not dry. My complaint was I needed so many napkins to keep my saucy face clean! LOL

If you're looking for a great Barbeque place I'd highly recommend City Barbeque. I got the bbq brisket, corn pudding, and baked beans and my friend got the pulled pork. Both were amazing and we will definitely be back again. The food was fantastic!!

My husband and I drive from the next county over just to eat here. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. The meats are always tender and the sides are all good. On our recent trip they had ran out of the sausage my husband usually gets, the cashier was kind enough to offer a small discount for the disappointment. The sweet tea is worth the drive alone. If it your first time visiting, it can be a little confusing. The basic breakdown of the menu is you can choose 1 meat and add sides, or do a 2 meat combo with sides. The menus is wrote on the wall behind the register where you order. Your food comes on an old cowboy style tin tray, and there's a roll of paper towels on each table. My favorite here is the brisket and cornbread. For sure a go-to on our list of places to eat when we get a chance to go out of town.

Awesome place with great and friendly staff. We brought our dogs (they’re pet friendly on their patio) and I didn’t order correctly (first time here), so the staff surprised us with accommodations and help. I can’t say it’ll be the same for everyone’s experience but they were definitely worth the drive here!

Great food! The 4-6 person party pack saves you money-2 lbs meat and 2 big sides. For instance order your own meals $13 each or 6 people can eat for $9 each. You just have to get 6 peeps to agree on 2 sides. :~/
People working there are happy and very helpful.
Place was clean. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere just because it's fairly open and basic, nothing else wrong. Booths on all the edges are a nice touch.
