Tequilaville

Our first visit to Tequilaville exceeded expectations! We started with a side of guacamole, which was delicious and fresh. For the entrée we both ordered the Tacos al Pastor, our staple menu item for any Mexican restaurant. The tacos were amazing, and the salsa served with them was the secret star; spicy but flavorful! We agreed that they were the best we have tasted.
Javier was our server, and he was very accommodating and engaging. We've definitely found our new go-to joint when we're craving Mexican food!

It’s hard not to fall in love with their guacamole 😍 It’s creamy with the right amount of salt and add-ins! The salsa is the perfect consistency too - doesn’t just slide off your chip. Gotta respect that! It has a slight kick making it extra tasty. Visited when the dinner rush was wrapping up and we were able to grab a great spot. It can get a little noisy, but certainly recommend this spot to get your Mexican food fix!

We were checking out houses in the area and we needed to make sure there was a solid Mexican restaurant around. Tequilaville did not disappoint. We ordered the Molcajete and the Chile Colorado and they were both dynamite.

Definitely recommend trying the Molcajete if you've never gotten it. The food portions were great and we had plenty for leftovers. Can't wait to come back again.

I eat here a lot.. Best Taco Salads in town!! Margaritas are delicious and Prices are very reasonable!! Very friendly staff,, clean surroundings…..I recommend this place to Everyone!! Delicious Salsa!!😊😊👍👍

I had been past Taquilaville many times but hadn't tried it until now. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was packed which is usually a good sign. After studying the large menu I ordered the "special tapatio," one of the house specials which consisted of one bean tostada, one beef enchilada, one tamal, one beef hard taco, one chile poblano, rice, and beans for $16.50 (pictured). The poblano was my favorite thing and I will definitely be ordering it again the next time I go.

The food is great the staff are friendly and they love our kids great place to eat we bring all our family and friends here when they come in town

This is the “fish bowl margarita” and it’s bigger than I remember, of course last time I was there I had the margarita tube so I don’t remember much afterwards 🤣🤷🏻‍♂
The staff is always polite and relatively quick with the orders (depending on how busy they are)

My family and I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. The food is amazing and the staff is so nice!! I’m not kidding when I say we come here at least once a week. Try the tacos de camarón or pollo con queso, you won’t be disappointed!

Not a good place if you want to be able to talk to the person your with. It is very loud. But it gets 5 stars anyway!!!

This is our favorite go-to Mexican restaurant. Not a fancy restaurant (difficult for handicapped persons to get up the stairs) but if you are looking for a place to eat great food and still be able to talk to and hear your guests.... this is the place!

We love the shrimp fajitas. Serving size is big enough for two... just ask for extra tortillas and enjoy!

It's bar far the best Mexican restaurant in Newark, perhaps best restaurant in Newark period. Friendly, speedy, accurate regardless of how busy they are.

Really satisfied with our stop at this location. Right next to a hotel and right off of the highway this is the place to be. We stopped in around 5 and by 5:30 the place was full. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Got a pitcher of mango margaritas, and it was a good price and definitely had enough tequila. The shrimp quesadilla was by far the best thing I tasted. Would definitely visit this place again.

Love this place. The service is very efficient, and the chorizo queso is my favorite appetizer.

I love this place. My sister and i were sat right away. Our drinks came not even 2 minutes later. Our food came in less than 10 minutes from when we ordered. Our server was attentive and polite. Their mango frozen margarita was delicious. Everything is well priced. Food had large portions. And the leftovers next day tasted amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back with my husband and kids.

The best food. I am Vegitarian and I love their selection here. Texas Margarita is fabulous also. Hubby and I share the BIG glass when we come. Always great.
