Fortissimo Coffeehouse

I had a well made latte with unique art on it. I enjoyed it while listening to country music, which I personally dig a lot but others might not! There is seating and a restroom. The only strange thing about it was the height of the tables and chairs. The tables that are well matched in height literally have eight legs to avoid. That is a lot.

Caramel macchiato. So beautiful I had to take a picture. Plan to sit in so that you can enjoy this masterpiece!! Staff was so kind!!

Their combination of food and coffee goes together so well and I particularly love it because they have delicious Brazilian food being done in a way that works perfectly in a coffeehouse setting. Tem muito gostoso e te agradece o que vôces estão fazendo!

I went with my friend for brunch and each had an omelette. I ordered The Prospect with salmon and egg white which was one of the best omelets in my life. It was very juicy due to the sauce and not heavy. It becomes one of my favorite brunch places. The smoothies are great and the syrup selection for coffee is simply stunning. Love it

Nice neighborhood coffee shop in Union Square, serving up a large selection of in-house made breakfast and lunch options with good quality coffee drinks (the huge syrup flavor wall collection is impressive!). Nice mix of standard and Brazilian influenced dishes (Brazilian cheese bread!), sammies, and salads. Today's post shows their Toro Brioche (toasted brioche, shaved steak, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, garlic aioli, and tomato), a huge sandwich enough for two meals or one hungry meal. Good flavors (not overly spiced). Prices are pretty reasonable for Union Square, especially for the quality. They close by mid / late afternoon typically, be forewarned.

I get my latte here before heading to work. I like that the shop has flavors you can add to any coffee. The cheese puffs are baked daily around 8 am. Service by Vagner (Brazilian name , spelling?) is awesome.

Brazilian cheese breads made with tapioca flour and breakfast sandwiches made using it. Great for those looking to avoid gluten and for a tasty breakfast roll that is not a donut, scone or bagel. Coffee is Brazilian, so darkly roasted.

Their drip coffee has been much better recently (Jan '24) and I'll be coming more often!

The new space is beautiful, modern and the food and drinks are delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient, Rodrigo the owner is very attentive and always with a smile.
Worth to try.

My personal favorite Union Square coffee joint! I’ve been coming here for years (including the old location). The Brazilian pastries are awesome! The coffee prices have definitely gone up but you get a good amount for it. Staff are always friendly and it’s a nice place to have a conversation.

Friendly, lovely local coffee/brunch cafe. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a peaceful Saturday morning.

My favorite coffee place in Somerville! I get a coffee there at least once a week and they are always quick, kind, and very hospitable. Everything I’ve had on their menu is amazing. And their outdoor seating is great during the spring and summer.

Lesson learned- if you want a great breakfast search for a coffee house. Great place- nice ambiance, great staff and the food is fresh and high quality. My bagel hound daughter gives her approval. Daughter #2 said one of best coffee drinks she has had. Worth a return trip before we head back to NY.

This review is for the Worcester location. Such friendly staff and their coffee is amazing. They offer oat milk! (which is harder for me to find). They also allowed my pup to wait inside with me (he was on leash and is very well mannered) while my food was being prepared. Businesses like this make is so easy to shop local. Go give them a visit !

Great breakfast/brunch place in the Union Square area.

Absolutely lovely little coffee house! The first time I went they treated me with such respect and were extremely kind.

I had their Nutella French toast and it was incredible. Three large slabs of French toast absolutely COVERED in Nutella with two sides of whipped topping and strawberries. Their house blend of coffee is fantastic as well.

I highly recommend for those in the area and passing through!

Best bagel sandwich I’ve ever had.

Great spot for a Sunday morning coffee! Their lattes are delicious (with plenty of syrups to choose from & add yourself). The brioche sandwiches are also fantastic - can't wait to come back to try their brioche french toast!
