Remnant Brewing

Great brewery with a fairly small selection on tap, but always a well curated one. The space at Bow Market isn’t huge but there’s usually a spot open. The bartenders are very friendly and kind. They don’t serve food but you can order food from any place literally steps away and eat it there. The trivia on Monday nights is really fun and well thought out!

They opened in May of 2018. I was the first person to seat on one of the bar stools. they have a delicious beer and very friendly staff. There is outside sitting which is just wonderful considering the fact that it is hidden away spot on Bow Street. Beautiful brand new Brewery. Must come visit in the Somerville area.

We've been patrons of Remnant since shortly after they (and Bow Market) opened in 2018. Over that time, they've consistently offered a great rotating selection of tasty beers brewed in house, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere both indoors and on the back patio. They also offer good espresso and various other nonalcoholic beverages (like kombucha and teas). For food, there are plenty of options around Bow to order and carry in.

Friendly tap room with great locally brewed craft beer. Interesting varieties and really nice use of yeast and hops to make well-made ales. Outdoor seating with a food court outside. Worth the visit to Union Square in Somerville!

Cool vibe, very good beer. The sour is really nice! I recommend the combination of taking pizza from Hot Box and sitting in Remant patio with beer, super fun!

First got introduced to remnant at a JTrips event. Had to come try it in person after did not disappoint! Top quality brews and pleasant atmosphere

solid folks working here, making the experience awesome. Great for groups and a lot of space, reservations accepted, can bring food from businesses nearby. Amazing 😻 can’t wait to go back! Kombucha and coffee available as well.

REMNANT BREWING: they said they specialize in New England IPAs because "we're in New England." They also age saisons ans stouts for 2 years in Wine, Bourbon, Rum or Maple barrels. Rich new aromas/flavors prominent from their creative flavors.

Great beer, fun location in Bow Market, really nice staff and bartenders. I’ll definitely be returning to Remnant to try more beers and hand out! Their cafe has coffee too which makes for a super versatile brew-pub!

If you like sours, the Sour Sol was very good.

Small, cozy place to drink fresh beer from the taps, located within the Bow Market. Staffs are friendly, well versed in beers and accommodating.

Coffee AND a brewery?! What could be better? Both were excellent, as was the service. We enjoyed a chat with the brewer and learned a lot about the space. Definitely worth a visit!

4 beers on tap. The IPA and pale ale are my favorite. These guys are knocking it out of the park. Excited to see what they bring to the table.

A solid local brewery serving coffee by day and beer any time after 11am. They’re one of the few places in Bow Market open every day and while the atmosphere can be a little quiet, you can always count on finding a good seat to work (they have WiFi) or socialize.

Space and service: Unlike the breweries or beer-centric joints in Cambridge, they benefit from spacious interiors and also a patio you can drink beer on (in the back though, just FYI). Friendly baristas are a plus. Cambridge/Somerville prices should be expected but the space and service make up for it.

Beers: Beers are fresh and interesting and not totally NE IPA-obsessive. They blew through an excellent Oktoberfest Märzen recently that had me wishing for another pint.

Remnant is just wonderful honestly, the selection is great and everyone who works there has always been lovely to interact with.

Some of the best beer in Somerville. Awesome spot too - the back patio feels like someone's back yard, and the inside is cozy and inviting (but a bit small). Events are fun but the back yard area is a bit busy and distracting. Any negative about this place is offset by their beer though - haven't had anything bad here.
