Middlesex County Radio Control Flying Field

Fantastic RC club to come and
watch a model aircraft acrobatic airshow alone or with the entire family. Want to try learning to fly yourself? MCRCF is a AMA charterd club and all members require membership with Academy of Model Aeronautics that has been around for over 80 years, that's before the FAA. They fly using the AMA safety code guidlines that has outstanding nationwide safety record. The club has been teaching model aviation at Billerica's Veterans Park for over 32 years (Sincs 1988). They love to help the local scouts, schools and youth organizations with demos or flight introduction training.

I've been flying model aircraft here since moving to Billerica in '99. The club partners with Billerica Recreation and maintains the flying field. We also take on improvement projects in the area surrounding the field. It's a great facility that adds to the diversity of recreational options in the town.
