I have been seeing Dr. Miller off and on since 2010, and his insights and treatments have been very helpful to me, especially as I have been struggling to regain my health after intensive radiation treatments at Stanford for tongue cancer. He embodies the rare combination of a highly trained allopathic MD who has also received extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and other alternative modalities. He is remarkably well informed and articulate about a wide variety of medical issues, so I have learned a great deal from my visits with him. I especially value his emphasis on the importance of diet and on supporting the ability of the body to heal itself. This perspective has been an invaluable resource for me as a complement to the perspective of doctors I see at Stanford, who tend to be more oriented toward crisis management and relief of symptoms than in treating the underlying cause of disease.

My wife & I live in Oklahoma and she went to see him over 15 years ago. He was ahead of his time with research in AMD and his micocurrent stimulation procedure, along with oral antioxidants has helped my wife so much, where retinologists in Oklahoma told her to go home and go blind . She still has vision & retinologists here are amazed .

Dr. Miller has a wealth of information and a big bag of tricks for improving or curing degenerative retinal diseases. His methods work, and have helped my vision stabilize and get better. I feel it is important to do your homework when evaluating his approach. The Stem cell method he uses may not have enough research behind it and I have chosen to stop using the stem cell enhancing supplements because of my own concerns about the risks of stimulating stem cell production. However, improvement can be made without this. I know from experience, as I am local to Dr. Miller, that he is not reliable with appointments and I felt going to him was frustrating. This undermines any help he is able to give. However, his home program for retinal disease improvement is valuable and I recommend it.

Damon Miller MD has a big heart, but way TOO much on his plate. I started his program with much excitement and anticipation for visual improvement. BUT when I had questions at the very start, he was very hard to get a hold of. When I did get a hold of him he was short and dismissive. He told me to hold my questions for the conference calls that would be held once per week and that I would get an email regarding when they would be. The email never came regarding them. And when a conference call DID arrive it was for a presentation for a disease I DON'T have. Then he changed the conference call to be about that disease instead of people who have a retinal disorder like myself. But the real clincher was when I needed to reorder my supplements. I called him, and you have to talk to HIM directly to reorder...no one else can take an order apparently, and I asked if the cost of 600 dollars was the total cost or was there shipping. He told me 600 was the total.that shipping was included. I said great and gave him my debit card info. Late that night (1030 pm) he charges my card 698.42! My card was declined because there was only 605 in it. He then leaves for a week. I got an email from him 3 days later telling me my card was declined and that I should have gotten a call from "someone" about it. "Sorry if you did not (get that call)". I did not. Then after he returned from his travels the following week, he did not bother to contact me for 13 days! His voice mail messages were un-apologetic, and dismissive again. That was it for me.
I decided to continue the program on my terms...I found the supplements on line for a lot cheaper and basically follow the book. The book, not the workbook. The first red flag was when I first called his office and got his outgoing message that was dated March 2020 in his own words. I could have saved myself 4000 dollars!
Again, I think is has a good heart, but way too much is on his plate to really be effective for people with retinal disease. He made me feel unimportant to his practice. and after all a good relationship with your health care provider is imperative for a beneficial outcome of treatment. I did not receive that from Dr. Miller. He's TOO BUSY!

If Dr Miller tells you he knows about hormone replacement therapy don't trust him.
He has absolutely no idea what he is doing.
He is not able to interpret the test results right.
In my case that cost my a lot of money and health problems.
