Waffle House

Wow, I did not make a mistake going here. I ordered a breakfast plate with the cinnamon raisin bread and it was delicious. One thing I can say about Waffle House is, most times, the staff and food puts a big smile on my heart. No microwave, hot cooked to order with big smiles around you. I can't wait to go back!!!

Waffle House was the best choice for lunch in the area. Friendly service, fast, the food was decent. I was even able to get a gluten-free meal.

We had the best service that we’ve had eating out in a long time. Paradise was friendly, attentive, efficient, and very personable and we really enjoyed our visit. We definitely will be back.

I walked in and to my surprise they only had 2 people working in the entire house and a server was one of 2 and he was cooking. Those 2 did a amazing job serving us with professional service and the whole time apologized for short staffing. I don't know who these two individuals are but I at there at the Roanoke rt. 460 location on Saturday night and they should be recognized for their service. I left a very good tip for them to split and they restored my faith that there are still good people in this world.

I enjoy stopping at a Waffle House! For those of you who view these small little places with trepidation, fear no more! No matter the state or the city, enter a waffle house and you will be warmly greeted. Seat yourself -- counter or booth. A waitress is ready to get you whatever before you settle into your chair. I whole heartedly recommend the pecan waffles, a side of bacon, O.J. and a glass of milk! (I am STUCK on the pecan waffles, so I can't comment about much else. Of note, however - I have never seen or heard anyone complaining about anything on the more than generous menu.)

You might worry about cleanliness-- but you don't have to. A puddle here and there if it's raining, but nothing that would stop the Board of Health in it's tracks. The cutlery isn't from Macy's, nor are the dishes. However, I've never had any trouble shoveling a warm, syrupy bite of pecan waffle off a fork or a less-than-perfect plate.

If you have mastered the ability to enjoy watching the people around you, you will enjoy the banter between waitress and cook as orders are shouted down the galley -like kitchen. Finally, the coffee is always hot and your cup rarely empty.

If you need a break from the road; or, a short escape from your everyday routine, make sure that a trip to Waffle House is on your "go to" list. (And, really -- you have GOT to try their pecan waffles!)

Best place for simple breakfasts for dinner or breakfasts for breakfast. Very friendly staff; attentive service. You know what you want and your going to get it, and you'll love it. Enough said. Enjoy.

Our waitress was amazing! She was so sweet. I played the some songs and she liked all of them as much as I did! I'd definitely go back

The food was great but the staff was absolutely amazing. Morgan and Tristan Tristan really took the time to make us feel welcome and and continue to and you to talk to my daughter. We felt more like family than just customers. These 2 employees need to be rewarded for going above and beyond.

I always check in to different Waffle Houses, love watching efficient cooks and orders called in at the line, restaurant lingo style. Crews always seem to get along and are sociable! Thanks WH teams!

This Wafflehouse is by far the best. From the staff to the customers. Everyone who frequents here is extremely nice and generous. It's filled with special people. The restaurant itself is spotless, even the bathrooms. Due to covid hours of operation have been crazy. The staff is very friendly. The food is above average for wafflehouse. Coffee is always fresh. I simply can't say enough how much I love this place

Had an Awesome experience today, and most importantly the Cook (Shea) was an AWESOME employee. He waited on me, took my order and also cooked it to perfection for me. And on top of All that, he kept QUICK checks on me to see if I need anything, or was everything ok. I personally believe he Needs a raise/bump up in pay!!!!!!!! This has been one of my best visits to any waffle house, and I've been to Hundreds of them!! Use to be OTR truck driver, visited Quite a few of them, believe me!!!!!

The food was the best I've had in a while . The service was great there were two men doing there best to run this place by themselves and one had just gotten out of the hospital they did a phenomenal job

First time ordering breakfast but it won't be the last! Everything was cooked perfectly, even the bacon!! Extra crispy just the way we like it. And Robin was kind and friendly and very helpful. Thanks for a great breakfast- you'll be seeing us again 😋
