The Westin Alexandria Old Town

The rooms are very nice. I did not like that there are no ventilation fans in the bathroom. So foggy after showers. Also ridiculous that there's no complimentary breakfast at the rates you pay. The trademark restaurant was fantastic. Had the fish and chips and the burger. Delicious. The siracha salmon salad was very good

After checking out, I realized I couldn't find my wedding ring. I went into a panic and called the front desk asking if there’s anyway I could go back and look. The front desk gentleman offered to go look himself so I didn’t have to hurry back and he found it! I’m so grateful!

We attended an event there and it was great. The service was great and the room was beautiful. We also stayed the night and the room was clean and nice quality.

Definitely recommend 5/5!

I did not rent a room here, but my organization rented a ballroom of a Christmas party this past Saturday for over 200 attendees. The food was delicious, the DJ played great music, and the waiters were very nice. The valet parking was nice as well. A block away is a public parking garage that charges a small fee for weekends.

No complaints at all. Easily walk out front grab a scooter and zip around old Town for an abundance of food and drink options. Pr you could honestly just walk and stumble into some gems. Staff was super nice and helpful. The room was clean and welcoming. They just nailed it all the way across the board. Already looking forward to my next stay there!

Great location for a business conference or just to be in the heart of downtown Alexandria! Nice location, great rooms and extremely friendly staff! The restaurant on site could use a little....errrrr, a LOT of help! Their staff are on the struggle bus! The rest of the hotel and conference space are fantastic!

Spectacular service. Working a conference at the venue, the staff is great. Clay and Charlotte have been enormously helpful in navigating the facility and surrounding area, as well as assisting with complimentary lost travel accessories (shaving kit).

The rooms are comfortable, well stocked and appointed, and housekeeping is prompt and courteous.

Overall best hotel experience in a very long time.

Great location, nice area with fantastic eating and shopping option in walking distance. The hotel even has a shuttle service available for nearby restaurants. Several places to enjoy a walk or even a place to eat outside, plus a historical site. Will definitely add this to my list of where to stay again when in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at the Westin. The location was perfect. It was quiet, relaxing, visually pleasing, and had a great price point. While there is room for improvement in some areas, I still feel that my experience warranted a 5 star rating. There was hair in the bathtub and shower upon checkin. This can be handled with a little more care to detail in cleaning. There are some minor touch upstairs that can be made here and there in the rooms and hallways, but besides that, I was extremely pleased. The beds feel wonderful and provide for a great night of sleep. There is no self parking, only valet parking. The valet parking is $40 daily. Valet parking does allow for come and go privileges, and while I typically like to self park, this was not a deal breaker. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but I did not try it out this go around. I may try it in the future. Great stay. Awesome hotel!

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in the DMV area as my office is here. Most of the hotels are old and dated, services tend to be subpar. Not the case with this Westin. You walk in and immediately feel welcomed by ALL the staff. Location is in the Carlyle area, plenty of places within walking distance for food and there is also grocery store.

The rooms. What I love about Westins are their beds. Hands down one of the comfiest beds at a hotel. The rooms are nice, modern with also still keeping that Old Towne feel.

Of all the Marriott's I've stayed at over the years in Alexandria, this one is by far my favorite. Rooms are nice and you don't feel like you are in an NYC shoebox of a room. Staff is INCREDIBLE. They are friendly, helpful, professional and accommodating.

Stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past couple of years and they consistently have wonderful customer service, clean rooms and great facilities. It's easy to get to and there are restaurants close by.

Lovely hotel in the court square area of downtown Alexandria. Excellent service. Staff is there to take care of any issues or needs during your stay. I rarely eat at the hotel but the food here was amazing!!! Do not skip their breakfast. ***Only issue was one even there was a party in the room next door, Very loud for several hours, ended up having to call the front desk and I believe an hour later they had them change rooms.

Really pleased with this property. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were updated and clean. The gym was large and well equipped. Best of all, the neighborhood was full of retail options and really pleasant to walk around. Short distance from the metro and a quick drive to everything else.

Superb all round. Comfy beds, Soft pillows, Great food, Friendly and efficient Staff.

Everything is great except the front desk staff., they are rude. The restaurant, valet, and housekeeping staff are wonderful.

Very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Our stay of two days was great. The service from front desk , valet and breakfast staff was super professional and warm. Don’t let the distance from old town scare you . They have a shuttle service to get you around. Nice breakfast with plenty of options. Only problem in room 516 the mini refrigerator makes some noise. Needs to be fixed.

My workplace rented their ballroom, DJ, bar service, valet parking,and waiters that made this evening a great Christmas party to remember.

I had the pleasure to stay at this hotel and support a couple with their wedding. The hotel is gorgeous and has a top notch staff who were fabulous to work with. Def recommend and cannot wait to work with them again soon!
