Wegmans

Great store in Alexandria. Love all the options. They have easy and delicious take out meals if you’re staying in a hotel and don’t want to tackle restaurant wait times. They also have pharmacy and self care items. One stop shop. Easy parking.

For first day open, I think the store is perfectly fine! Not sure what the parking issues are in the other review. Everything was clearly marked. Store is on the third floor and there are escalators that take your cart for you. Yes, it is smaller than the other Wegmans, it's an urban location so that's fine. They have just enough of what you need.

So far a good experience. I liked my breakfast. The store has parking built in. The cookies are tempting.

Really wanted to go to a Wegmans and see what it was about and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. We need a few in Houston. It is without a doubt one of the bet grocery stores that I have been to.

Great variety of items, but about 2/3 the size of the hilltop Wegmans. Free parking. They also don't seem to have toll house cookie dough or the Pillsbury rolls you bake yourself... Either that or I missed an entire section. Oh, and everyone there like all the other Wegmans is super helpful and knowledgeable.

Wegman's is my Achilles' heel. Their prepared foods are always reliable for a quick weeknight dinner (though not cheap). Basic staples are high-quality and decently priced.

The cheesemongers are always happy to give good recommendations. The pastry counter is sparsely staffed and if you want something from inside the case, they're usually cranky about it. Deli staff are lovely. The checkout clerks (both self and full-service) are always friendly and helpful. The wine team is spectacular and keeps a lot of really good quality bottles in stock; if you want something rarer or higher-end, you just have to ask.

Parking is a little weird, in that there are 2 entrances to the Wegman's section, but you can be tricked into accidentally entering the non-Wegman's section and having to pay-- read the signage closely!

This is my go to in all of Alexandria now. The best grocery store hands-down. I feel compelled to write this review because of the excellent experience I had there recently - especially with a nice woman named Rylan who ran their flower department. Rylan was due to leave her shift and close down her section. After hearing my request to combine a bouquet last minute, she stayed well past her shift was over for TEN MINUTES to make this unique bouquet and arrangement beautiful. She's earned a loyal Wegman's customer. Huge thank you for the excellent customer service.

Shout out the Michael, the cashier who’s faster than the flash. I always load my groceries in a way that I know will be most helpful for bagging, but this guy will literally get you out in 1.2 seconds regardless and still be gentle with the fragile things or the things you don’t want squished LOL

Wegmans stores are amazing no matter how big or small. The one on Stovall st is very convenient for walkers and drivers

This location is usually more well stocked than my normal stop, I feel like they also have better selection of some items.

Absolutely love this one! This is our go-to place and we have never had a bad experience here.

Wegmans made an impromptu Sunday picnic at the hospital where my partner had been admitted and will be for the next couple days, amazing. He was really touched. The food was delicious 😋

Fresh pizza! Some items in the store are pricey (similar to Central Market) while others are very reasonable. They have a variety of food to choose from. We were shopping for a lunch party and found items that were a great fit 🥳👍🏽

Went in just to get mint and limes. Looks nice. Will definitely go back to look around more and try some food...

This is a fantastic grocery store. They have a lot of to go food options including an Asian hot bar, a wing hot bar, and a plethora of different sandwiches. The bakery is also elite. The chocolate chip cookies are a staple of my diet and they’re always available. I also appreciate the hours here. It’s open to midnight every night. Just fantastic. 5/5.

Abundant grab-and-go/ready-to-eat options and abundant eating space with natural light and a view. Smaller footprint than most Wegman’s (urban location). Bar for sushi and adult drinks. Employees were all very friendly. Just an excellent grocery store overall.

Wonderful store. It's always clean and well-organized. I wish they had a wider selection of items, but they are limited by space.

“Boutique” Wegmans making every square foot count. Great addition to the area. It would be perfect with a pharmacy.
