Bruster's Real Ice Cream

The seasonal strawberry shortcake was great! I substituted the vanilla with New York cheesecake ice cream and it was perfect. All of the ice cream I've had over the years has always been good and the prices are reasonable.

This place is always so good and a must stop whenever I'm in Roanoke. The ice cream is good and they let you customize your banana splits. I opt out for pineapple topping and replace it with hot fudge. The bananas are always fresh not mushy (bleh). Overall, no complaints. :)

Great service! We were in quite a long line but only waited around 5 mins to order And our ice cream was out around 3 mins after paying. I was looking for a gluten free option and though they don't list completely gluten free options, I found options for my kiddos with no issues(gluten sensitive). We enjoyed a sweet treat for a decent price on a great day. Perfection!

First time there tonight. Got Coconut Cream Pie ice cream in a waffle cone. Employees were very nice and the ice cream was delicious.

Thank you Bruster's for providing us some semblance of summer still. I've always loved going to a walk-up ice cream place when it's hot outside.

Bruster's ice cream is a great spot for ice cream. It's a good place for family to go get ice cream after a day out or after dinner. It's like those cute little ice cream shops that people gather around during the summer in movies. The staff is very patient and friendly and offer samples if you're stuck between flavors. We really like their cotton candy and that's usually our go to. They have rotating flavors so once something is gone, it's usually gone.

Great place for variety of ice creams and shakes

Vegan ice cream is so hard to find in the Roanoke area. I went here with family, not expecting to order anything. Much to my surprise, they had two vegan options! I ordered the strawberry banana, and was pleasantly surprised! Serving sizes are HUGE, so go small -- I couldn't even finish a single scoop serving.

If you like hundreds of flavors then this will be absolutely a must! Be sure to visit and give a little extra time for reading the items available. This is the real deal for real good ice cream. The only location I know about is in Roanoke but I'm sure with this exceptional finding that there are many more!

The ice cream here is soooo amazing. I love there ice cream but the shakes are a little liqudiy. And the prices aren't that bad. It's a good place to take the kids for a family fun trip to get ice cream. They have a few options on the menu. They also have a good reward system. They also have a pup cup for dogs to enjoy ice cream.

A very nice place to get good ice cream at an average price. There is outdoor seating and there is often a 5-10 minute line which is outdoors. I go there often and usually get butter pecan ice cream. Would recommend!
