I'm a big fan of cocktail bars and have visited at least 200 around the world. Ryan is one of the most fun and knowledgeable bartenders I've ever met! The drinks are phenomenal and creative. Their menu is very enjoyable, and ordering off-menu is full of surprises. Highly recommended!

A good cocktail spot, with a small list of good quality sandwiches and pub food for accompaniment. The focus here is definitely on the drinks. The interior is kind of small, but there is also outdoor seating along a relatively quiet road that is quite pleasant. The sandwiches, fries, and chips are pretty good.

Great little bar in Alexandria. The Cuban sandwich was delicious and the cocktails were even better.

It is always lovely to come here and enjoy a cocktail. Location ideal, decor ideal, staff incredibly friendly and professional. Shan helped me today and he was cheery, friendly, make me feel welcome, and served me an excellent cocktail. I need to come here more often and enjoy a meal or snack but I never have the chance. I am sure their food is as delicious as their snacks. Will be back asap!

Update: Tiffany was very nice tonight and made me a delicious gin cocktail for me, will be back to say hello to her and Oren and enjoy another drink. Thanks!

I ordered the Red Bowl and the flavors were awesome! My family ordered flavorful burgers and steak sandwiches, and they were fantastic too! All the food had a very cohesive taste and I can tell they used fresh ingredients. The vibe was just right, away from the busy bustle along King Street. a bit like the flavors too.

The prices of the drinks are very reasonable.

I would absolutely recommend it to my friends!

Great place to grab an app and some drinks. We had the hummus and pita chips with a couple cool cocktails on a hot day.

This is a nice place to gather with friends for a drink or a few and grab a quick bite. The place is a little small though so be mindful of your group size.

This bar was really chill. Bartender was amazing and had good conversation. Food was decent. Great spot to go and start or end the night.

Low key hidden gem with very friendly staff that pays attention to detail. Shout out to Lisseth who was extremely helpful with the menu! The people burger was the best one I’ve had yet. I even took one to go. Sean’s recommendation to the watermelon whisky was top tier! I can’t wait to come back to The People’s Drug and see both Lisseth and Sean!

A small, special bar with some amazing cocktails! Had the King street passion and bar special cocktails. In food had the Chick-Charon and fried pickles. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Alexandria.

Awesome spot just off of King Street. They have some creative and delicious drinks here with a nice outdoor area. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

Great cocktails. Limited menu, which I prefer nowadays / do a few things very well. And they do it very well. Their custom burger was the best burger I have had in a while. Friendly staff. Intimate in space. Will be back!

Love this place! We visited on a Thursday night and everything was great. The food was delicious. The servers were attentive and personable. The atmosphere was calm with smooth r&b vibes. Awesome place for date night!

A great cocktail place. I think if you are looking to catch up with friends over nice cocktails. I highly recommend coming here. The bar has excellent drink options but can also make you whatever you want. I had a lovely time and the staff was very friendly. Also the fried pickles are delicious.

One of my FAVORITE places to have a drink and some food in Old Town. The drinks are awesome and the chef puts out some banging food. Cuban sandwiches, burgers, chicken chichrons, fries, and wings, are all good. Shout out to Jason the recent GM.

Delicious cocktails when the bar is open (often the kitchen opens first and the bar later in the day) great options for all alcohol, including non alcoholic! The food is tasty, servers are great and efficient, and the place is dog friendly (at least on the outside patio). The drinks are a work of art, bit taste jist as good if not better than they look! A bit pricy, but worth it.

Wasn't sure what to expect with some mixed reviews but we were passing through Alexandria and hungry late at night.. not many places still serving a dinner menu at that time. The menu was limited but we tried one of the burgers, the fries, and chickpeas. I'd probably not get the chickpeas again because the fries were SOoO good and a large portion to share. The prices were great for the quality of food and portion. Eddie was on staff and he was the best! I'd definitely come back.. would love to try their lunch menu!

A changing season menu of expert-crafted cocktails. Happy hour prices are around ten dollars for a drink, but that is not out of the ordinary for the area and they are always exceptional. Come for the creativity and stay for the truffle fries.
