Cheesy Street Grill

Everything made to order, so it takes a little longer than the fast food surrounding it, but WORTH IT. Got the ham and cheese, which slapped. Have gluten free bread and cleaned the grill down for me, but advised that there is lots of cross contamination, so NOT good if you have celiacs.

Very nice server. He was on his own, and made sure to let me know the food would take a while before I placed my order. The sandwiches were great. My six year old is a picky eater, so I expected her to say "It's not like the kind I like" and just pick at it a bit. Nope. She loved it. My wife and I liked ours too. What a nice surprise to find in a rest stop. Will make a point of stopping at this rest stop to go here.

This is an absolute hidden gem - we saw all the reviews so we decided to stop by, and it was as good as the reviews said! We ended up getting a third grilled cheese to share - it was that good. The Mac and cheese is also excellent, as is the tomato soup. The restaurant is in a rest stop off the highway so the ambience isn’t great, but the food itself is top notch - wish they would open up a full restaurant in Boston 🤞

Always a great time heading in for some Get Shorty Sandwiches! Beef ribs, Mac n cheese perfectly toasted bread with the spicy mayo and bbq sauce highly recommended! If you're feeling bold get a double to go.

Cheesy Street Grill is amazing. First off, despite being located in a rest stop with typically questionable and disaffected employees, they hire right here. Always super friendly, hospitable, welcoming and willing to accommodate special requests.

The grilled cheeses are just amazing. I stop here even when I'm not hungry. Breads are great, cheese super high quality (swiss is particularly good) and they are always grilled to a perfect golden brown.

Reasonable pricing.

Highly recommend.

Build your own grilled cheese sandwich with tons of different options for everyone. Although it is not a gluten-free establishment, they do offer tasty GF bread. I ordered a cheddar with bacon, balsamic vinegar, and grilled onion on gluten free toast. I'd definitely order here again despite the slightly pricey prices. 8/10

I got a basic grilled cheese and the tomato bisque. I was expecting an average sandwich and bisque. The food was fantastic. The taste was far better than I hoped and the amount of cheese for the sandwich was ideal. The person behind the counter suggested getting at least one topping, and they were right. The bisque was so enjoyable and great for dipping my sandwich. The service was amazing as well. Overall, I highly suggest you visit if you're at the plaza while they're open.

The server WAS FANTASTIC. SO KIND AND GENUINE (LITERALLY TODAY). AND THE SANDWICH IS PHENOMENAL.

Stopped at the location in the Framingham plaza on the way home from a trip. Very pleasantly surprised to find an excellent alternative to The Standard fast food rest stop fare. Great sandwiches. The gentleman working there delivered great service.

SO good! We stopped here on our way to the airport the day after attending a wedding.. needless to say we needed sustenance. The food is amazing! Definitely hit the spot.

DAMN!!! I only got the Signature Grilled Cheese. I can’t imagine how much better the other choices are. This was delicious and filling. Too filling I would say/write. Awesome I must add. Meant to take a picture of the whole thing but, I ate it!

Best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had! I stop by here on my way to Boston EVERY time now even if I am not hungry. All the people at the other restaurants at this service area make me cry; they don't know what they are missing.

Just discovered this amazing place. My wife and I ordered the Get Shorty ( beef short ribs, chipolte mac and cheese with bbq sauce and Cheddar and the Sea ( Tuna. Cheddar, Mayo, pickles and tomatoes. Hands down the best grilled cheeses we had. Freaking delicious. Oh and we tried the tater tots with beer sause and dang that was amazing as well.

Lisa is fantastic!!!! my friend and I stopped for a quick bite to eat and not only did she have gluten free/veg options, but she was so kind and personable. she’s also hiring if anyone is looking for a job! also has a cute sign hahah. 10/10 will be back :-)

We stopped in because we were starving and looked at the menu. The young man working behind the counter told us everything was made to order so anything could be substituted if we wanted something different in a listed sandwich or we could build our own. We got a chipotle chicken and asked for well done bacon (,it was!) and a French onion with different cheese. The sandwiches were (are; still eating!) delicious! And the service was fantastic. The young man who made the food was helpful, efficient and super nice. As we sat down to eat we noticed he was cleaning up and closing the grates - it was 7 pm (5/14/2023)- but he hadn't given any indication nor tried to rush us. This is my first rest stop restaurant review but I felt compelled to write it partly for the restaurant (since the food is sooo good) but even more so the service. 💯💯💯

Food was soooooo good. Nice rainy day got the bacon grilled cheese and cheddar and bacon tater tots. Sooo perfect rainy day food!

Chipotle Bacon Grilled Cheese to to die for. Locally owned and operated and a true gem of a place. Don't pass up this genuine foodie spot

The grilled cheese was delicious, and the service was delightful. I look forward to stopping by again at some point!
