The seafood here was really good 👌🏽
Trout was the star
My friend tells me that he had a different crepe than what we had today that was better! We had the strawberry Nutella which was okay.
Cappuccino was average
The whole team here was amazing
Breakfast is also good here

It is a bit pricey!

I really enjoyed my meal here and it was literally a spur of the moment decision to eat here but I'm glad I did.
My salad was tasty and filling, my server attentive but also able to leave me alone. The place was packed when I stepped inside which is a good sign in my book but there was a little space outside. I was able to sit inside and enjoyed my meal very much.

A little pricey, but isn’t all food now? Fantastic little place! Everything I’ve tried is delicious. They’ve got a great variety of beverages including international beer. Pomegranate mimosa is heavenly. I love the design of the restaurant, and for a little place it’s got great acoustics. Make sure you save room for a crepe and a coffee!

Visiting DC area June of ‘23. We found this place mostly by accident! We loved it so much went went back again to try more of the menu. Great brunch selection, and the crepes are awesome. Carmen and Dibbs are very helpful and always ready to make recommendations. We have 2 savory crepes (Alexandrian and the Parisian) and a sweet crepe for dessert. Fun coffees and drink selection compliments the food nicely. Also a cozy outdoor seating area if the weather is nice.

Was in the area and we were looking for something sweet - and the sweet crepes here certainly fit the bill. My group of three all ordered a different dessert crepe and each one of us was thoroughly pleased with what we got. Perfect portion size and reasonable price for the area. The weather is getting colder now but on a nice day I’d recommend outside seating as it is in tranquil spot. Service was quick and attentive. Will definitely be back the next time we are in the mood for crepes. They also have savory crepes and lunch/brunch/dinner items to try.

Enjoyed Saturday brunch outside on a gorgeous day. The Alexandrian crepe was delightful as a savory option. My husband was over the moon with his choice of French Toast. Staff was stretched a bit thin on a busy day. We will definitely return to this neighborhood gem.

A great place to sit and relax after a busy day in the nations capital. The food is great and there are a lot of menu options to choose from. The atmosphere is calming and inviting. A good place for a morning date or even an impromptu work meeting. Whatever your reason, you will find the staff professional and super nice.

We've dined here numerous times for breakfast and dinner. The crepes are excellent and the veggie offerings are great. The space is intimate, nice but casual, not pretentious, very inviting. Based on the space, best for small groups (4 people, tops).

I saw other reviews complaining about the pricing before going here and it did make me think a minute about going. However - I’m glad I didn’t listen!! I’m not against a local restaurant doing what they need to do to make it and help for what happened with COVID. This place is such a cute little gem and I wouldn’t want a local spot to go away to be left with more chains. Also, it’s in Old Town, what do y’all expect?! The service was great, the food was amazing, and great scenery to go with all. I will most certainly be coming back and we should be supporting our small businesses! Thank you for such a great experience!

This place has the best warmed cider! It's so delicious and comes with a cinnamon stick in it. Definitely would recommend coming here for crepes and other food as well!

Edit: came back two years later and the food was still amazing! Got a seat outside and it was perfect and does have some shade. I loved the Bellini to drink for brunch. The Washingtonian was so so so good. I could have eaten another one and even forgot to get a picture. The dessert ones were also good!

Lovely spot with nice crepes and friendly staff. Visited twice while I was in town.

Enjoyed the crepe with roasted chicken and Brie and the Moroccan one. Decent lattes, too:

The slogan is accurate. Locals do eat here. Because it's amazing and the crepes are amazing. It's not a secret why this place is a local favorite, and I love coming here at any time of day.

Loved this little café. Although we only had cheese and wine, I will return for the crepes that sound very enticing. There is a wide selection of imported and local wines by the glass and the cheese plate with Baguette was divine.

The hot apple cider is totally worth traveling for, although sadly it's just a seasonal drink.

Recently had the Washingtonian savory crepe and it was so very delicious. The meat fell apart and the sauce was perfect. It looked, smelled and tasted so good I forgot to take a picture.

The deserts are definitely where it's at. I could eat this everyday.

The only downside was the cold cider, it wasn't as spicy as I expected.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try this place the last time we were in Alexandria, but the the line was ridiculously long. We got here early and the food was more than worth it. The host graciously accommodated our request to sit outside to eat. We enjoyed our meals here. The kale lentil salad was light and fresh. The savory crepes were delicious and accompanied by a fresh salad.

What a perfect combination; a charming old world French Cafe in the heart of Old Town Alexandria! Sitting on the brick sidewalk at bistro tables, enjoying crepes, quiche, coffee and conversation. This is the good life! Everything we had was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. Thank you Kali! Thank you Fontaine Caffe.

This place is awesome 👏 👏👏 We were looking for a place for breakfast, walking around the streets. Then we saw this place, it was very crowded but worth the wait! They’re very welcoming, friendly staff. I got the savory crepe (farmer’s market) with eggs and a latte. It was sooo good! 🤤 Perfect breakfast! I can’t describe how good it was. I would definitely come back here when I’m in Alexandria!
