Lovely park for walking, playing, and learning! Plenty of parking along the paved walking trails, picnic areas, and historic sites. One of my favorite escapes from the city!

One of the best parks if you are planning for a family or friends picnic, the park offers many BBQ grills and picnic tables. Plus the historical area if you wanna discover part of America's history

This is one small park inside the neighborhood. Very neat and comfortable for walking and running the 600ft round path. I go to this place twice or at least once a week. Children’s play ground, dog walking, running, walking, group reserved spots for BBQ, historic site and cemetery are some of the activities and spots you can get here. I love this place.

Great historical park with a museum and preserved fort. Essentially, it's the arboretum for the City of Alexandria. Nice picnic areas, trails, and it has a 1 km paved walking / running loop. Would love to see the amphitheater get more programming.

So,.this is.one.of.my favorite.parks. it's a historical spot for.starters and has multiple areas to enjoy a picnic, cook, and play. Situated around what is essentially a circular area, with ample.parking, this park is awesome for a.good walk. There are a.couple.of restrooms.around, an amphitheatre, a museum, and even an old cemetery. Definitely a positive feel in this park!!!

This neighborhood park has several good characteristics for the public. There is a black top path that is shared with walkers and drivers seeking to a parking space. There are many trees that can provide shade. Picnic tables that can be reserved for special occasions. The park includes an outdoor arena for listening to music on specific dates(check events on state park website). There are several restrooms throughout the park. Handicap access is also available in most of the park.

Great place for kids to explore. Nice picnic facilities for large groups. The loop is shared by cars, bikes and pedestrians. Excellent place for running or walking with a friend without having to watch out for traffic. Also a decent birding spot.
