Riverwalk Landing

Lovely, small shopping and dining area of downtown Yorktown, right on the waterfront. In fact, there is a tiny strip of beach where people in their swimming attire are laying out, playing volleyball, or otherwise enjoying the sand, sun, and surf. We enjoyed dining there. Parking is free across the street in a covered lot. The Riverwalk itself is quite enjoyable. There are museums, an awesome antique store, gift shops, bakeries, etc. Love this place!

Water front shopping and dining destination in Yorktown. On some Saturdays, there is a farmer's market. The day we visited, they were having a Pirate Festival as well. Lots of crafts, games for the kids, and food trucks. There is free parking in the city garage across the street.

I love this little area of Yorktown so much! There is plenty of shaded seating where you can relax and look out over the waterfront. Some restaurants nearby, cute little niche shops just steps away, farmers markets on Saturdays, historic landmarks, and a walking path that takes you into nature. The restrooms nearby are very convenient. Perfect spot to shop, dine, take a look around, and get some air.

Really nice place to take a walk along the York River. A few sandy beaches for hanging out and swimming in the summer. Public restrooms and picnic tables along a paved walkway. I come here a few times a year. Nice public fishing pier.

Beautiful place to walk, a few shops to look through. Beautiful beaches to walk along the York River. Love going for a stroll, is the atmosphere relaxes you. There is a market on Saturday mornings that is always fun to walk through

Wonderful location on the waterfront with access to restaurants and the waterman’s museum along the walking path.

Super cute area to walk around for a quick stop. I can’t imagine spending more than an hour here. It’s great for dog walking

Beautiful place in heart of Yorktown Beach area. There are restrooms here. Many little shops, treats, and places to sit. Gorgeous flowers and all around great place to go when exploring Historic Yorktown

First time visiting with my bestie, Meshell, and cousin Mia. YORKTOWN BEACH WAS AMAZING! Beautiful landscape with clear and calm waters. This place has little quaint shops to peruse, as well as long cobblestone pathways to get your steps in all around the area while learning about historical info along the way! Lovely!

Such a pretty place! Good little swimming spot for kids. Plenty of free parking or you could park at the museum in Yorktown and ride the free trolly to Riverwalk. Beautiful place for a waterfront walk. Handicap accessible beach area.

Best old Book store that has a little bit of Everything! Then head to the Yorkshire pub and get a Rubin sandwich!

Wonderful. Place to eat and does it, it's beautiful there. Pirates were everywhere.

Great place to visit. There are numerous little stores, restaurants, Ben and Jerry's Ice cream, a nice beach area and restrooms. There is an outdoor water fountain that has a bottle fill station and pet bowls. There is a bike repair station. A pier that is free to fish off of. A great day trip destination. They also have free outdoor concerts on Thursday nights. There is a wonderful farmers market on Saturdays.

Small beach but great place to chill and relax. The riverwalk was well landscaped and with lots on bench to relax and enjoy the day. Free Toll rides around Yorktown.

WOW - this is such a GREAT place to visit! Free parking was a BONUS! ALL the HISTORY! A fantastic beach and great views of the river! We need to remember to visit more often

Riverwalk Landing in downtown Yorktown is a gorgeous area. I highly recommend that visitors or those who live in the area spend some time down here -rain or shine. There is free parking available nearby, and there are handicap accessible areas.

Just returned from the annual Yorktown Wine Festival of 2021.. it was a pretty nice event but it was sold out and way too crowded, long lines in front of the wine booths, not enough parking spaces available but other than that it was phenomenal ...excellent wine and out of this world food, fried oysters, homemade clam chowder, and shrimp. Just unbelievable, a wonderful time enjoyed by all!!

SO beautiful! My Partner and I came here for the first time last night and had such a great time looking at the homes, walking the Riverwalk and visiting all the shops. Absolutely recommend coming here and it looks beyond remarkable towards sunset!
