YROC Coastal Bar & Grill

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants. I've never had a bad meal here. Tonight I tried the cheese curds and Mac and cheese eggrolls appetizers and they were delish. For my entree I had the seafood trifecta. Atmosphere is great on water. It's always packed and hustling and bustling. They don't take reservations and is first come first serve and there is always a wait bc it is so popular. Tons of outdoor patio seating too to enjoy on a good weather day. Parking is difficult bc there aren't a lot of spaces and like I said, it's always packed.

This was my first time visiting YROC and i was very impressed. The prices are very competitive and the food is amazing. We got the pickle fries and the amount we got blew me away. We also got wings, and the baseball center cut steak and everything was perfect. Not to mention the location is wonderful, it was a beautiful day and we sat outside.

As always the food was amazing. We had thr Little Neck Clams as an appetizer. I had fried oysters and Shrimp for lunch. The oysters were so big and delicious!

Delicious food and beautiful views! How can you go wrong? You can even have your dog along to help with the fun (and the cleanup, because gravity is a dog’s best friend 🤣). The fish is very fresh. We enjoyed the oysters Rockefeller also. You can never go wrong with bacon and oysters right?

Great service! The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The view is gorgeous! We loved the atmosphere. They have a great menu. We will definitely be back!

Regular customer. Bar upstairs is our favorite spot. Loaded nachos are a favorite! Slushes were on special. Mixed Drinks were all great. Beautiful view. Service was excellent, it was busy with 2 bartenders holding down all of upstairs so service was not immediate but everyone was friendly and we had a great time! Looking forward to next time.

Great hidden surprise! Never knew this place existed till my sister treated us there for lunch. Definitely going to be coming back. Great open atmosphere. Next time we're sitting outside over looking the yachts.

I just got turned onto this spot over the summer.. I grow up in Gloucester and moved away after HS(‘82), however I had never heard of this spot until a few months ago.. it’s causal, great energy, food is excellent. It’s extra special coming back home and being able to eat at one of my favorite restaurants!! Great prices & nice servers..

Always consistently good food and probably the best outdoor eating and views in Gloucester.

First time here. Was recommended to us by our neighbor. My wife and I spent our 23rd Anniversary here and it was amazing. Our waitress, Melanie, was very good at helping us with our order. The Oysters Rockefeller was a great starter. The Orange Crush(drink) was great as well (one of my southern favs). My wife had the Seafood Trifecta with mashed and asparagus. It was cooked to perfection and the asparagus was very tender. I had the Maine Lobstah (Monstah) Roll with fries. It's on a split top hogie roll and over flowing with lobstah meat. And we topped it off with cinnamon swirl cheese cake and key lime pie. We will be back to try some more great food.

Outstanding ambience, customer service, and food. Serving sizes were perfect, appetizers were amazing, cocktails and beer were a great selection. Prices were on par with quality of food and service. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Water side, on the patio, at the deck, awesome views, great food, tasty drinks, and good service. This is not a place you want to skip. The chef has made some great menu choices and are well prepared. Pina colata was so tasty. The Bacon wrapped scallops, I could eat them all day. I only hope to travel back to enjoy the next meal.

I had the scallop and crab volcano my wife the shrimp poor boy, both delicious!

We went today, the day of the daffodil festival, it was busy of course. There was a very reasonable wait, about 20 minutes. Everyone was friendly even though they were packed. Hostess and waitress were attentive and helpful, the meals were absolutely delicious. My girl has been a couple times and recommended it to me, my first impression is very good, I wish I knew about this place years ago. She got coconut shrimp, I got a Hawaiian pork bbq bowl. Great portion, reasonable prices. High quality seafood restaurant in a very casual and clean atmosphere.

Excellent American seafood and other favorites, great beer,m and cider choices, under a covered patio looking out at the marina and river. This is what you want to do.

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch. We got 2 appetizers during happy hour for apps and each got a drink, and it was $35! The apps were absolutely delicious and big enough portions we didn't even feel like getting an entrée. Can not wait to go back.

The seafood boil was so good that regular food just tasted lame after. The view was wonderful, food was great, vibes were chill. My son finished his entire plate and some of mine so you know it's good.

Come here often from Newport News and it is always on point. The food is delicious and fresh. Wonderful view and atmosphere as well as great service. Our last 2 visit we had Jennifer S and she has been AMAZING!

Hidden gem! Friendly/courteous staff, mouth watering entrees, completely remodeled restaurant. Expansive menu, very nice assortment of beverages and local brews. Visited with a large party, everything that came out of the kitchen looked picture perfect, nothing but smiling faces all around. Will visit again soon, thank you YROC!
