Auntie M's American Cottage

Brought my significant other down to Yorktown because it's one of my favorite places to be. We stopped in at many of the local shops including Auntie M's. Nice shop to browse and a lot of unique gifts. We bought a few small things as souvenirs for the family back home. The owners were very friendly as we checked out, but didn't hover while we walked through which was nice. We will be back again this summer. Thank you!

A lot of cute crafty hard to find Revolutionary War items. Great gift ideas, especially the spoon jewelry.

Lots of things to see in many different motifs. A hidden jewel in Williamsburg to be sure. Shop for gifts or treat yourself.

Nice gift shop with many unique items. A lot of the items are hand made and made in the U.S.

The sign that suggests 'you lose, I lose if you don't buy anything' turned me off. I was very interested in buying a fork necklace, however the lack of interest in customers resulted in my leaving without a purchase.

Woman behind the counter was extremely unfriendly and did not interact with any of the customers in the store EXCEPT when another patron pointed out that her store claims to be "Made in America" and her American flags clearly state "Made in China". Employees response was "well I buy them from a company in America and I'm not going to throw them away" Don't falsely advertise your products.
