If you've never eaten at Bubba's before, you're in for a treat! Fantastic fried Shrimp 🍤, plump with light batter and wonderful fried Catfish, fresh, moist, and delicate. Cooked to perfection! The country style Green Beans were luscious, Coleslaw adequately crunchy, and the fried Okra; delicious!!! 😋😍 Will return to check ✔ out other menu offerings, such as the Big Chicken 🐔 sandwich 🥪! See 👀 you there!

Bubba's is Always a go to if you want the best tasting seafood! My favorite go to for seafood. Choices from catfish to flounder, scallops, oysters, the whole sea of food! The atmosphere is decorated nicely. Eat in or take out. The staff is wonderful. They bring your food out to you. Very clean too, which is a must for me.

This us one if the best local fish shacks in Southern Va. We moved to Tenn several years ago but when we are anywhere near Bubbas we will stop. Great catfish and flounder dinners.

If you are craving seafood this is your place! My mother and I had dinner here last week and I had the best fried shrimp I’ve had in years. It was lightly breaded and fried just right so the shrimp had the perfect flavor. When you order a basket plan on getting a to go box because they give you a dozen large shrimp,fries,hush puppies,AND a side! I also could not believe something so good was so affordable. Atmosphere is casual which I liked and the crew working were pleasant. I can’t wait to get more delicious shrimp...or a crab cake......so many delicious options.

Traveling through decided to stop for lunch. So good, worth the stop. Clam strip basket with hush puppies and cole slaw. Shrimp basket with okra and cole slaw. A ton of food, we could have shared. Best cole slaw I’ve had. Fresh, fast, reasonable price.

Everything is always excellent at Bubba's. We've officially tried everything on the menu and it's all delicious! Household favorites include shrimp chowder, fried catfish and shrimp, salad with steamed shrimp, and the banana pudding is absolutely delicious! The pudding is mousse-like in texture and not overly sweet. We'll be back, of course!

Ordered carryout for dinner--2 catfish, 6 shrimp, & 2 oyster tacos. This was the first time trying the tacos & it was absolutely delicious. Coleslaw on each taco and mildly spicy from what tasted like Old Bay seasoning. Give them a try. You will not be sorry.

First visit and loved it. So friendly in there, as would hopefully expect from a hometown spot. So much food in a basket that easily worth $11! The fried shrimp and catfish was amazing, including the hush puppies. Bonus, if you don't like slaw, pick another side as a replacement. Plenty of seating space inside.

The most seasoned food on their side of the bridge. Was told by a friend to stop in for lunch and Bubba’s didn’t disappoint. And even better was the service! I stepped into the barbershop next door and they brought me my food so I’d get it hot & crispy. Winning team behind the counter and in the kitchen.

ALWAYS on point, ALWAYS professional, and courteous they care about their customers 100% They have the best seafood in Virginia, hands down. This is one of the cleanest restaurants inside and out, (restrooms included) that you will come across. The pictures were my lunch today. Which was sweet tea, fried catfish, fried shrimp, french fries, hush puppies, and coleslaw. Thanks guys it was amazing as Always.🥰 love yall

Great food and staff. I will definitely visit again. The owner/manager was super friendly. I had the Crab cake and shrimp basket.

After passing by here way too many times, I finally decided to stop by and try it. They did not disappoint! The environment was incredibly inviting, service was fast and friendly. The food is beyond delicious. The only thing is the coleslaw wasn't sweet, it felt like I was eating wet raw cabbage. However it being a side, it didn't ruin my meal. I would HIGHLY recommend trying here if you haven't yet. You won't be disappointed!!

Worth the 30 minute drive from Williamsburg for great seafood at a reasonable price. Very casual dining. Shrimp and catfish were excellent, clam chowder was good, but spicy/peppery for my taste.

Fun, friendly staff! Amazing seafood! My catfish was cooked to perfection and loved special homemade Bubba sauce.

Busier than expected for a Tuesday night. Had the new grilled salmon special and I couldn't believe it!! Such a top notch dish! We don't live local anymore but go in every time we're in town because they are so great! Anything you get it top shelf food so I recommend it all! Over time I've tried about everything and I'm NEVER disappointed! I'm sorry I don't have a picture of that salmon to share, it was eaten too fast! Grilled and placed on perfectly seasoned rice then it was topped with good crab and crab sauce! Worth every penny! Oh course I'm addicted to that bubba sauce so I've got to dip my hush puppies in that!
Enjoy the meal, and take a look at all the stuff in there if you can take the time. It's beautifully done! Tell them I said hi and that I sent you in. We closed the place out once again last night. ❤

Went to this restaurant about a year ago. Then finally made the 127 mile trip again. Wonderful place with good food and atmosphere. Prices were easy to live with too. If you like fresh seafood, quick friendly service this is the place for You.

The fish is excellent, it's best to eat in because if you take home the french fries, they tend to be old.
