Pavement Coffeehouse - BU

I love the iced mocha and iced matcha latte in this place. I used to love their almond croissant pre-covid but haven’t seen it recently. The vibe for sitting is really great if the cafe is not fully packed. The bagels are very delicious while on the pricy end. I like to have avocado and sprout with cream cheese everything bagel. I also like their lox bagel. It is my favorite for takeout since it is usually very packed though. The cafe used to have a point system that used to get connected to your phone number. Unfortunately that is gone now. It would be great if the owner could bring back the point system just like JAHO coffee shop does.
GRS school often also gives graduate students coupon for getting free coffee from this Pavement location.

Delicious, fresh bagels, friendly service, and locally sourced hot apple cider? Yes, please! The bagel I ate was the perfect combination of crisp and chewy, with generous cream cheese. A bit of a wait, this is a place to come for quality, but not if you’re in a rush. Obviously, it’s a favorite among students, who are studiously at work here and happily meeting up with friends.

Wow! Coffee tastes like heaven!

Probably my favorite and go to place for coffee in the morning. The place gets super busy in the morning, specially if the school is open. I usually order ahead and pick up my food/coffee which works great.

They have a nice selection of coffee,most of which are pretty good. Their bagel sandwiches are awesome! The egg sandwich with garlic-avioli is one of my favorites!

Great staff, amazing atmosphere and amazing food. We had the Fix Sandwich and it was excellent on a young summer morning.

Wooow. Best vegan bagel sandwich I've ever had. We got two of the Vegan Tequila Sunrise bagels. We thought it came with Just Egg, but it didn't. So if you want that added, you have to tell them. It was divine without it though. I got a soy vanilla latte that was equally delicious. Would highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, solid food, decent coffee. Music was quite loud for a place where a hundred conversations are going on, but otherwise a great spot to chill and kill a few hours.

Absolutely cannot beat the coffee, and the bagels are some of the best you’ll find in Boston. Service here has always been great

Pavement is not only a great coffee place it also promotes sustainability much more than all other places I know here. If you bring your own reusable cup you'll get a discount on your coffee and your cup is filled whether you ordered large or small (or maybe my cup is just small). Also, the staff is super nice. I will always recommend this shop.

I ordered a bagel with tempeh and other dressings and it was so. Freaking. Good. I devoured it in less than 10 minutes. The staff was super friendly and cheerful which is super uplifting during Covid times, and they were on time with my order. I’m definitely looking forward to going here again.

Great energetic vibe here; busy with students and business folks late morning. Hag Cappuccino with at milk; very good. They also have vegan muffins. Definitely recommend, but you might have to wait for a seat :-)

I like this local chain. A whole lot better food options, smoothies than national chains as well as the other couple of competing small area chains. Someone else w a more refined palate would need to weigh in on pros, cons of things like coffee nitro brewed, or pour overs or legit flat whites. I drink coffee. I prefer dark roasts that won't taste burnt. They have it here. My only suggestion on making it better: stay open by an hour or two later.

Pavement is awesome. They have excellent coffee tea and food! Pour overs are awesome. Vegan/vegetarian options are great. No gluten free options though outside of salad. 😣

This place is wonderful to get your morning bagel and coffee, do your homework, or just sit and watch YouTube! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Food is good and inexpensive. And customers are usually college students.

their cold brew has always hit different. like just i don't know, i want to call it craft cold brew because it just has the a very nuanced flavor.
