Chad moves at a fast pace, explains everything in detail, and helps you narrow options based on your wants and needs. Chad was my realtor when I recently purchased a new build home. He was absolutely fantastic when I was looking for a new area to live in, finding the right home to be a good fit for me, negotiating the deal and all the way through building the home and finally closing. I could not speak highly enough about how much he did for me during the entire extended process. I was relocating from out of state and Chad took care of everything for me for an entire 8 months while I was waiting for the home to be built even sending me photos of the build in progress. Chad was great! He's professional and quite competent. This isn't a side hustle for him, it's his primary income source and treats this business with appropriate care.

We were first time home buyers with a weak financial position in the worst market in decades, and he still took us on in between all of his other clients. (He's at closings with clients twice a week, every week.) He was able to out negotiate competing agents to get us into a house that was better than we thought we could get! Without an aggressive agent like Chad in this market, we'd still be renting. And even though looking for a house isn't a fun process, he's got a down to earth sense of humor and is easy to hang around with while you're looking at house after house on the weekend.

He knows the game really well and truly looks out for his client's best interests. He actually told us once "I'm not going to let you buy that house" after we had been looking at a potential purchase for a few days. The seller began acting weird, almost evasive, when Chad started asking about property disclosures. So we trusted him and moved on, slightly disappointed. But Chad kept investigating, and later we found out the seller and their agent didn't even know that property had a septic system and therefore hadn't serviced it in at least 10 years!

He's built a great team at Total Atlanta Group, which includes a trusted network of inspectors, construction people, and other trades related to real estate. Our home inspector was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, and he even gets on the roof to do close physical inspections (weather permitting.) And he went through the property with us room by room and gave us all kinds of suggestions regarding energy efficiency and things to pay attention to down the road. Also great experiences with both his pool inspector and septic inspector. And Chad was actually recommended to us by a mortgage broker we know who works with him regularly.

All in all, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Chad at TAG. He was always honest and upfront even when, occasionally, the situation didn't look good. And I can testify to the fact that he will look out for your interests even above his own. But even when we got discouraged by the seeming impossibility of getting a home given our weak finances, he was upbeat. He told us he believed he could find us a home that would work for us and would keep at it until that happened. And he did. And our new place does more than just work for our family, it's amazing.

Chad did a great job helping us find our specific, detailed needs for a house, and was fantastic and flexible in showing us properties on our short-notice schedules. He really went above and beyond, however, once we FOUND our perfect place. In addition to shepherding us through the process, including helping us find a great home inspector, Chad worked tirelessly to manage specific amendments to the contract and coordinating the whole closing process smoothly- even when last minute issues arose. We were so grateful to have him in our corner!
