Hyatt Place Atlanta/Cobb Galleria

My recent stay was fantastic. The staff showed beautiful professionalism in addition to being personable and helpful. I was on one of the floors where renovations are complete, and was thoroughly impressed with the layout (took a video for plans for future tiny apartment).
I ordered the fries from the in-hotel menu, and they were perfect for the end of a long, stressful couple of days.
Cleanliness was tops. Location was helpful for my reasons for visiting the area in addition to just being in a great area in general.

My husband and I stayed here to watch the CUBS VS BRAVES game. We stayed a total of 2 nights- super clean, every single person we encountered on our stay (staff members) were polite and attentive- breakfast in the mornings was included- which is always super nice-
And although the pool Was closed we enjoyed our stay!! Also if your looking for a quick bite to eat and the best wings ever … up the hill in front of hotel is wing factory the wings were phenomenal- also an recommendation that was given to us by the friendly front desk staff-

We stayed at Hyatt Cobb area to watch the Braves game. Felt very welcome and treated great! All the staff was very helpful and friendly especially Nat who made our experience even better! Her positive attitude and pep in her step made our day!! We are regulars with Hyatt and will definitely come back!!

Rooms were clean. We happened to visit while they were remodeling but still was good condition. The rooms were spacious and clean, bed comfortable. Shower had good water pressure.

The only thing I did not like was the mini fridge did not keep things cold inside.

Best thing is the included free parking, enough spaces and had an Aldi near by. It takes 17 mins to get to downtown and 39 in traffic hour.

We stayed here about a month ago, taking refuge after a slightly disastrous AirBnB experience. Despite it being nearly 1 AM, Calvin greeted with a huge smile and was incredibly helpful getting us booked into a room quickly so we could get to bed (I think he could tell I was minutes away from falling asleep in the lobby 😂).

The hotel itself was clean - and I mean C L E AN. My husband has asthma, so moldy hotel rooms will set off an asthma attack almost immediately, and we had no problems whatsoever at the Hyatt. We will definitely be using this hotel frequently, as we have family in the area! And hopefully we’ll see Calvin again 🤞

It was having some renovations done but the employees were very nice especially our morning person, he set breakfast out early for our special needs group because we had to sign in at Special Olympics super early. The rooms were very roomy and very clean.

Review for first stay in 2023: The customer service here was amazing and everyone went above and beyond to help me during my stay. Everyone was so kind, attentive, sweet, professional and extremely helpful for every single need or inquiry I had. This is definitely one of the best hotel staffs I’ve experienced yet. This team is truly amazing!

UPDATE after second stay in 2024: My stay at the Hyatt was absolutely amazing. My highlight was definitely the staff!

Natalia was absolutely superb and answered every question I had & made sure I had a smooth arrival. I had some really important packages being delivered for me & she made sure they were kept safe and were waiting for me when I arrived! She was extremely professional and overall very helpful and is a major part of why I had such a great stay.

Brittney (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was also very helpful and assisted me when I needed help printing something very important.

This is my second time staying here and just like the last ALL of the staff i encountered were incredible.

Very nice room and very spacious. It was clean and smelt very well. I was surprised at how nice the room was but my only complaint is they allow animals and we had a neighborh with annoying dog who would bark randomly in the middle of the night and early morning. Other than that no complaints and would stay again. Walking distance from braves stadium is why we chose this hotel.

I was traveling for business and there was an issue with my reservation due to someone else booking on my behalf. Both Joanna and Ashley were INCREDIBLE in helping me get my reservation reinstated. They were also extremely helpful when it came to restaurant recommendations, walking directions, etc. The hotel itself was perfectly fine, but Joanna and Ashley made the stay that much better!

First thing we checked in late around 11pm and Ashley was a gem. Check in was effortless and she gave us all the information we needed for our stay. She was willing to answer all our questions and she was pleasant the entire time. Hyatt has a partner in Ashley. Our room had strong fragrant smell and she was willing to change us. Our stay at this Hyatt was very pleasant and comfortable.

Nat and Jo were awesome! I was working on the internet at the site and had the pleasure of working with them as well as other amazing staff. The 3 managers were very helpful and the engineering staff was hard working, but none were quite as crucial to the success of the project on a day to day basis as Nat and Jo, the front desk staff. Kudos.

Had a wonderful experience last night. Easy check-in and the staff was very pleasant. Our room was very clean and only had minor issues. The a/c wasn't the greatest. It would turn off and the room would get stuffy until we kicked the fan on again. The double beds are a little small for full grown adults and kids. The room was quiet at night.
Breakfast in the morning was good for a continental breakfast. Waffles, fruit, biscuits and gravy, and more. Very clean and well laid out. No issues at check out.

The company I work for made my reservations for me to attend a training class nearby. I had never stayed at The Hyatt before then so I was a little skeptical however they did not disappoint. The entire place was Clean, the receptionist was very helpful, the pool was pretty big and very clean, the rooms were very spacious comfortable and nice (I had all I needed and more), comfortable beds and couches, GREAT air conditioning, lots of nearby places to eat no matter what you like, peaceful, and had a wide variety of food and plenty of it for breakfast. I would definitely refer someone to The Hyatt and choose to stay there again anytime I am in the area.

This has been an amazing experience. Ashley checked me in when I got here, and provided all the details I could possibly need, which was so helpful. Kelsey was working with her, and he was incredibly friendly. After I dropped my luggage off, I came back down for a drink, and both Ashley and Kelsey remained helpful and accommodating. After I worked in the corner for an hour, I asked Ashley for a napkin to clean off my table, and she refused to let me do it myself. It’s amazing how much pride she takes in her job. I left for dinner, came back to the hotel with my sister, and was lucky enough to be greeted by Ashley again. She helped us at the bar (looking for the Braves channel!), and chatted with us in between greeting new guests.

You all have a real gem with Ashley! And I will definitely be looking at Hyatt Place first for all my future Atlanta stays. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

As a frequent traveler and holder of Titanium Elite status with Marriott, I have recently embarked on my journey towards earning status with Hyatt. My first stay was at the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Cobb Galleria and I was not disappointed.

A major advantage of this hotel is its location – it’s a mere 15-minute walk from the Braves ballpark. Furthermore, the convenience continues with easy access to I-285 for a smooth and hassle-free commute to the airport the next morning.

Another aspect we greatly appreciated was the hotel's flexibility with parking – we were permitted to park two cars, which was an added convenience for us during our stay.

Upon entering our room, we were greeted by a generous amount of space. Although the decor of the hotel shows signs of age, the cleanliness and maintenance levels are top-notch, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

While the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Cobb Galleria might not be the most modern hotel, it shines through with its comfort, cleanliness, prime location, and flexibility. This rewarding first experience has fueled my interest in building my status with Hyatt. We look forward to our next game-day stay!

After tackling Hartsfield Jackson Airport where 5 international flights arrived within minutes of each other.......and the 2 mile walk ( with luggage) to customs......all we wanted was food, a hot shower and sleep!! I booked the room otw to our car. The employees were warm and receptive. They cooked for us even though the kitchen was closing as we checked in. The food was great. The room was more than I hoped for and I slept great!!

My only place to stay when visiting ATL! Rooms are very nice and clean!

Down in Atlanta for a couple of days on business and couldn’t have found a better place to stay. The rooms were large and clean and the staff at the front desk was tremendous to work with, especially Ashley, who helped us during the later hours of our stay. I will definitely come back the next time I am here.

Recently stayed here on a business trip and the experience was great. From the clean rooms to the friendly staff, especially Ashley at the front desk, it’s safe to say I will definitely be staying here again.
