Jacobs Java Cafe & Drive Thru

Legit italian beefs and Chicago dogs in the most unassuming little drive-thru what!!! I’ve been within a half mile of this place and never knew it existed. We stopped in the other day to try out the food and it is truly great! The giardiniera on the sandwich was crunchy and spicy and the hot dogs were real Vienna beef! The owner was super cool to chat with as well.

I’m from Chicago and have tried I think every other “Chicago” restaurant in GA and this has to be the most accurate representation. We’ll be back!

Omg! Y’all have to try them out! Hands down the best. I definitely found me a new spot ditch the Starbucks & Dunkin’s! I got a strawberry mango smoothie no diary so fresh and flavorful! Chai latte so smooth & delicious:) I def will be returning, and the owner is so nice & respectful!

Me and my husband came here twice, we love it! Great customer service and attentiveness. The Chicago dog and coffee are so good, and we’re looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

The owner is such a wonderful and inviting man - the coffee is excellent too! What a hidden gem!! You can call ahead and use the drive thru for extra convenience and the patio area is a fantastic shaded area. 5/5

My son and I were looking for something unique that we have never tried before and this listing came up.

All I can say is the stop was not a disappointment.

We ordered the Chicago dog Chicago beef sandwich along with the best tasting coffee we've ever tasted.

The person who took our order had great conversation and we enjoyed our food on the outside patio.

Great energy, coffee’s tasty, service is good, and I love the space. The patio is well shaded with greenery surrounding it. Some reviews mention that ordering if you walk up can be confusing, but if you have any sense of logic you can figure it out 🤷🏽‍♀ maybe a signage saying “walk-up” could be helpful. I would come here to do work if there was wifi. Overall very nice!

Visited a couple weeks ago for the first time right before he closed and got a little confused with the drive thru setup (but only bc I was expecting a cafe bc I didn’t read the drive thru part of his establishment so my fault) but even so it wasn’t hard to figure it out. He was so personable and patient and encouraged me to take my time looking at the menu, which most people don’t do when they’re 15 minutes from closing. Says a lot of good things about his character! I got the white chocolate mocha…rich, creamy, can taste the white chocolate…just delicious!!!! The price was very reasonable, around the cost of a Starbucks grande white chocolate mocha give or take some cents but much better in quality! Really wish I could get it before work in the morning but with an hour commute that begins at 6:30am that won’t happen so saving my visit for Saturdays! The food looks so good from the other reviews so I might get some with the delicious white chocolate mocha next time!

Love this place! Chicago Dogs and the Italian Beef are first rate! I am from Chicago originally and the hot dogs with the nice warm sesame seed buns (even celery salt) and the beef with hot giardiniera are exactly what I need when I have that nostalgic need. Only game in town for Marietta Chicago dogs! Marc is the friendliest and hardest working guy I know. Get yourself a mug and go and see him for great hot dogs and even better coffee and tea!

The entrance is only one side of the street but it's worth going around the circling back.
The burista was very nice and pleasant, the coffee (mocha) was to dye for.
The right temperature to drink, just sweet enough 😋 and mixed just right. He took his time to make it just right ✅
While I was there I realized they have hot dogs 🌭 all types (to bad I was full). Also they have a nice deck to sit at if you just want to take a load off. So all My coffee ☕ lovers 😍this is place for you.

Felt like going on a drive to somewhere I hadn’t been yet in the Atlanta area. Jacobs was a pretty lengthy drive, but the photos and ratings looked very tempting.

Well worth the drive. The drinks were delicious, the food was as well, and the service was next level. I definitely intend to come back.

Awesome place run by an awesome guy! I got the Chicago Dog and my friend got the Italian Beef. Both were fantastic. I also got the Chai Tea iced and it was hands down the best one I ever had.

The coffee and experience here were both great. I got an amaretto latte, while it was on the pricier side it was definitely worth it. I’ve also tried the iced mocha, which is the perfect amount of sweetness and a great refreshing coffee! They have some unique flavors and I will be going back to try more! I’ve never seen a coffee shop like this one, which made the experience fun. There was a cute outdoor seating area and the barista was extremely friendly and made our drinks quickly. No one was in like when I got there but I can imagine the line being a little bit slow when it’s busy. Overall a wonderful experience and I’ll definitely be going back soon and trying a hot dog!

We stopped here on our drive to Alabama and so glad we did! My husband and I ordered a dirty chai latte and pumpkin spice latte, both were amazing and perfectly prepared! He even went a step further to ask if we wanted our drinks drinking temp or hot. We also got a fresh blueberry muffin, which was also delicious. I highly recommend this gem of a coffee stop! Thank you for the hospitality!

I was stopping by at a nearby electronic store and wanted some local coffee, I looked at google maps and saw that this was a stone throw away from me. Perfect!

I didn’t have much time to take flattering photos, but let me tell you! This coffee was beyond amazing! I ordered the caramel Frappuccino with almond milk, and the vanilla cappuccino with almond milk. The owner was very nice and a very skilled barista. He foamed the almond milk like I’ve never seen before! The prices are fair and the menu is easy to read.

The building itself is rather small but no worries, they offer drive through and walk in. They also have a wonderful outdoor seating area if you want to enjoy your coffee and maybe get some work done or read.

I truly wish this was near where I lived.

My wife and I were gifted a 1pound bag of Jacobs Java and we were simply astonished at the heavenly aroma, smoothness, robustness, and flavor of the coffee that we had to drive across town to get two bags! Well worth it and even more splendid to meet Mr. Jacobs and blessed by his service! The BEST coffee I've ever had. Hands down.

Incredible coffee. Some of the best coffee around. Don't bother going to the nearby chains. Marq is so friendly. I haven't tried the food yet, but hope to soon -- it looks so good. But I took the advice of other reviews here to get the Al Frappe, but I asked for oat milk instead of the suggested almond milk. It is one of the best frozen coffees I've ever had. The new patio is also beautiful for summer sitting. Definitely go here and leave a good tip! 👍🏻

Nice locally-owned, very friendly service. Happy I found this Marietta gem! Ordered their excellent peach smoothie! Italian beef sandwich is full of yummy goodness! I will return to try more smoothie flavors plus when I'm wanting another sandwich! Cute outdoor dining area as well- will return to enjoy it :) first time here and truly impressed with the flavors and service!

LEGIT CHICAGO BEEF! This place does it right. Beef seasoned PERFECTLY…TENDER…JUICY. Seriously the beef is so juicy and tender it’s good without the AMAZING A jus they have. I ordered my beef “soaked”. The bread was pillowy soft and idk if they make it daily and fresh in house but it sure seemed like it. Held up perfectly and didn’t get soggy or fall apart even tho I ordered it soaked. I mean you it doesn’t get better this place has bonafide Italian beefs. Girl friend is from Chicago I’m pertinacious foodie and we can voucher for this hidden gem. She also got a Cappuccino and we split a polish dog. EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT. Place is small and tucked away. Limited parking and patio seating but it’s a GENUINE HIDDEN GEM. Get here. Get some beef. You won’t be mad. Man has what 500 reviews and 99% at 5 stars. I think there’s three that are disheartening and just DO NOT HOLD against the 500! Again 500! Five star ratings. 500 vs 3. You can’t pls everyone the owner was friendly helpful and thank full for our business. There’s always a Karen. There’s rarely beef done this well. If you are hungry and see this place do your self and the small business a favor. SHOP WITH THIS MAN.

Hands down one of the best places to get your Chicago fix and coffee fix. I am obsessed and will definitely be coming back to enjoy the relaxing patio and awesome tasting menu items.

Marq is the kindest man and great owner! He is what definitely makes this place such a wonder!

Y’all. All I have to say is do yourself a favor and grab some food from here. I love finding little gems like this place. The food was super good, and the service was quick. I will definitely be making my way back here even though I live a ways away
